I was quickly directed to main floor desk for check in. Pleasant staff making me feel welcome .A nice waiting area to fill out my form. I waited 10 minutes, then escorted to treatment room. Tech asked me questions about my injury and took my temperature. Recorded our conversation and said doc would be right in. The waiting rooms so clean! Baseboards and walls like new. Exam table, chairs, desk with stool and quiet . I waited about 20 minutes for him, Dr Wissink. Great smile, personable, listened to my story, let me know he was going to record it for accuracy, felt the painful area. Recommended steroids and muscle relaxer with follow up orders IF I needed it for MRI and Physical Therapy. They called in my meds to my pharmacy. His associate followed up with a copy of my visit report. What started out as a day in pain only took me about an hour plus the drive to get a great resolution to my issue. Just outstanding!!! The icing on the cake? My meds were ready at my pharmacy by the time I got there. I had no idea there was urgent care for orthopedics Northland Plaza main floor to the left by escalators. I had been there to third floor for rehab after shoulder surgery two years ago. Parking was ample at the 8100 building in the ramp or on the grounds. Every time I go there I am impressed with the feeling of a clean beautiful lobby with information desk, gift shop and check-in desk. Staff amazing!!! Thank You Tria for a great experience. .

Instead by billing this as an office visit you are now out of network. When I inquired about why this was, they actually didn't care and reiterated they would bill my insurance as an office visit, even though my son was seen at an Urgent Care clinic. I will never use this facility again, even though I really liked the care we were given by the actual doctor. And I will also tell everyone NEVER to use this facility.

After many conservative treatments for my back and leg pain (PT, nerve ablation, and a failed spine…read moresurgery) I finally was referred to Inspired Spine. Dr. Abassi ordered a CT with contrast (painful for about 5 minutes) he recommended surgery at L3-L5. I was nervous about spine surgery because my older brother had spine surgery and never really walked well again. However, the Dr. suggested I get a third or fourth opinion ( which I had already done and didn't like their recommendations) I promptly agreed to his recommendation. On May 3, 2024, I had surgery. After the surgery, I was in excruciating pain. My wife actually left because she couldn't take it anymore. But, they provided ample pain meds and I calmed down. I was walking within 6 hours of surgery with a walker, but got rid of that within a week. Today, my back and leg pain are essentially gone, and I am golfing. So 4 months after surgery, I am golfing a full 18 holes. My score is not quite what it used to be, but I am careful, hitting the ball straighter and without pain. I'd call that a very successful outcome. He says I can't make you age 30 again, but at 76, I'm happy to feel like 50! I should have done it sooner.

We made it very clear when we made the appointment that the purpose was to talk with a Dr. about artificial disk replacement as a future option. They charged us a crazy amount of $$ to get my husbands information over the phone for his appointment in Burnsville and they charged us for the appointment in which we were told it's illegal to have artificial disk replacement. If that truly is what Dr. Kim believes, then why did he proceed to see my husband knowing that was what we were looking to talk about??

They are super accessible and have urgent appointments if you need, there is always a doctor on call 24/7, and we've never had an issue getting in. This clinic is how primary care should be!!!

They use some sketchy person from somewhere in her basement now. She never returns calls either. They use to have 5 very experienced doctors for the first 15 years I was there. Then Dr Nelson went part time to golf and play footsie with Fairview corporate. ALL the rest of the stable doctors all quit or retired. I was forced to change doctors 3 times the last 2 1/2 years. The facility now has 2 PAs, which isn't a huge thing but you now have 1.5 doctors running 2 PAs. And both PA quit after several months. And the one full time doctor slot changes every 18 months. So you have 1/2 a physician with more than 10 years experience. The nurses rock though and total angels. After 18 years it made it hard for me to switch clinics but I CANNOT bear their incompetence any longer. Avoid this clic and just find another Fairview Clinic because RMG is a Fairview offshoot anyway. AVOID at all costs.

I made an appointment online and was excited for my evaluation. The "club" aspect of paying a monthly fee and then walking in whenever you want sounded great! I arrived to signs on the building asking everyone to wear masks for the protection of self and others, but when I walked into the Mind and Body office no one was wearing a mask. Not the doctor, not any of the three patients, and no masks or hand sanitizer, nothing. And there's more, I've been to two different Chiropractic offices and I am used to them servicing multiple patients at a time. What I am not used to is it all being in one open room where everyone is just laying on a flat massage table waiting to be serviced. I'm used to my own space with a minimum of curtains, hot packs, bolsters, or a motorized roller chair to loosen me up prior to adjustments. Looking around the room, I didn't see anything that made me think these prep options would be available. The doctor approached me at the reception desk and hastily outlined the documents for me to fill out. They appeared to be mostly about joining the club and no Anatomy page to note personal problem areas, no health forms about past surgeries etc. This last comment is my personal perception and not a fact, but my gut told me that the Dr was very uncomfortable and possibly even offended by my anti-racist t-shirt. The t-shirt simply says: "Hi, Don't be racist, Thanks." I obviously can't make any definitively factual statements about this, but after clearly reading my shirt (which you can see takes about 2-3 seconds tops) he kept flicking his eyes from my shirt to my face and back to the shirt. It was definitely distracting to him and I felt made him uncomfortable. That's what I have to say about my 5 minutes in this office this morning as I simply wrote on the intake papers that the office was not for me as no one was wearing masks and left.

In addition, in the last couple of years I have been in a couple care accidents that have brought on significant back, neck and migraine issues. I am very "specific" about how I am adjusted. Dr. Vern is a chiropractic I trust and value his adjustments. Since Dr. Vern has to be very gentle with my neck at times and other times he can do a more firm adjustment I know he has the ability to cater to all spans of needs for children to older adults! I have been going for a couple of years now and appreciate his drop in hours, affordable prices, that he takes time for each person and will listen to what my body is needing (manual or activator adjustment etc) based on what I tell him, he is not one to push his thoughts, opinions or ways on a patient. I have been in to see him last minute for severe migraines and he takes the same amount of time with me as he does when I would arrive early or mid shift. The flat fee takes anxiety out of unexpected costs or a "sales pitch". The open room approach did take a little time to adjust (maybe 2 visits?) until I realized when its my turn to be adjusted he is focused on adjusting me and others in the room are doing their therapy or stretches and paying no attention to me. As I mentioned previously, not having to make an appointment is also a huge plus! New to chiropractic or have had a bad experience in the past? Relax, give Dr. Vern a chance, call him and make an appointment. Communicate to him your anxieties and pain and he can work with you to start feeling better! Oh and wiggle your fingers and toes as you get adjusted, it helps your body stay relaxed to allow for a better adjustment and less resistance! (that's me as a former Chiro tech talking now!) ;)
