This is an hour boat tour that offers an amazing history tour of the Bryggen wharf and fjord. You will see things like the Bergenhus Fortress, the WW2 concrete ruins of the U-Boot Bunker Bruno, and other historical buildings and landmarks from the water. It is a very nice boat ride to learn a little history and take in the view of the city from the water as well.
There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase onboard. Likewise, there are a few snacks available for purchase as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating too. The boat goes along steady and slow and is very relaxing.
There is not a website for this m/s Eric the Red city cruise tour. However, you can buy tickets (if available) upon arrival at the boat. A place you can buy tickets in advance is online from Viator. The meeting place for departure is at the Fish Market (put this address into your GPS or maps: Strandkaien 11, 5014 Bergen, Norway). You will see a big sign for the tour and the boat will quite literally come to that spot. The boat doesn't arrive until right before the start of the tour, so don't panic...it'll come. The boat loads and unloads quickly, so be on time! read more
