Greg was very punctual, organized, and very detailed orientated the moment I first shook his hand. He came to my house with his portfolio binder containing an area to take notes, special area for pens/pencils, business cards, etc. This showed professionalism and how organized he is, which is something that's hard to find. I ended up choosing Greg because his quote came in around $500-1000 less than the other guys I contacted. We set a time and date for him to show up and left him our garage door opener so he can come and go while we were at work. We had him repair our living room floor (had bad water damage from moisture underneath), put in a new side access gate, repair and install a new side door and frame, and install a bathroom fan and light. What I liked about his work is his attention to detail. Everything was precise and done right, and not to mention, if something was bothering him, he went back and fixed it until he was pleased with the outcome of it. Another bonus was that he gave us options in parts and materials...letting us know the price differences and his own personal recommendations. In the end, he finished everything with in a week and only went $100 over the proposed price (we wanted to upgrade a few things). We couldn't be happier with the work, professionalism and price. He is now our GO TO guy if we need any home repairs, maintenance, remodeling or home improvements!

I should've listened to my inner voice. After a series of mishaps, I reached out and contacted Ġerman @ build It Up Construction. He and his crew had also renovated my neighbors home and her condo and was highly recommended through other mutual friends that had renovated their home. Ġerman promptly scheduled an appointment to meet with me at my home the same day I let my other contractor go. He arrived on time videoed the area that was incomplete and got me a written bid the same day. Build it up arrive the next morning at 7:30 AM and started in on the renovation project. Within the first two days, they had accomplished more than the prior carpenter did in two weeks. The amount of stress off my shoulders was immense with hiring them. I should've made the right choice to begin with, but I believe they were not available because they were busy on another job. I can't say enough good things about this crew. I ended up referring him to a friend of mine for a small job which he sent one of his guys over the next day. What a small world! My friend remembered hiring them five years ago to scrape his acoustic ceilings and re-texture them throughout his house. He was so appreciative that I got him back in touch with them that he plans on using them for every DIY project. He has moving forward. The new sink and faucets are FRANKE high end professional grade and being a different size and configuration from the original sink, the quartz countertops needed to be cut and resized. I was very skeptical and being a perfectionist, I was hesitant to even consider this project and didn't want to risk damaging the island countertop. German, his crew and countertop fabricator came out prepped and protected the flooring, wrapped the island cabinetry with paper, draped and taped plastic sheeting in a bubble around the island to keep the dust at a minimum. The countertop, sink and two faucets came out perfect as if they were always there which is what I was hoping for. German and his crew are professional, knowledgable, kind and efficient. I would recommend him and use him for future projects!

This was the only company that I contacted that included a vapor barrier sealer given the age of my house, and the price was the most competitive even including this sealer. I scheduled for a week out. The team that worked on the project, Bobby, Andrew and Alex, were proactive in their communication, telling me each day when they would be arriving. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and very pleasant to interact with. I highly recommend this company.

Mind you, I had three walls I wanted done. Well, to do all three was a lot more than I expected. But, I had contacted five people about the project and Brickdancer was one of the three that returned my inquiry. Another was cheaper, but I didn't get the sense they were reliable, since it took two weeks for him to come out and another week to get a bid in, after I reminded him. Another told me that he just didn't want to do the work. He said it was a lot of work and he didn't want to be on one job for so long. Brickdancer was the sole company that felt good, and I'm so glad I went with him! There was no worry about anything, as Lee kept me informed the whole way. During the project, Lee would let me know what was done, what was planned, and he gave great advice. The job started and finished without interruption. They work fast, did the filling with the City, got the permit and inspections, and kept the area clean. Fact is, Lee was so great that I added to the project and had him pour a new driveway. I do have more to do, but I have other work that needs to happen first. Once the next concrete and wall project is ready, I won't call for bids. I will call Brickdancer.
