(With a toddler and a newborn to take care off, I didn't have time to just sit around and wait for it to get better, which is all doctors seem to recommend!). My boss recommended Dr. Limonoff (who insists on being called Jeff) at East Lansing Chiropractic. The office was very friendly and got me in the day after I called. There was a bit of a wait once I got there -- maybe 15 minutes -- but not a huge deal. Jeff is super-friendly and very chatty. He explained everything thoroughly, and I didn't find the adjustments painful. One nice thing is that he doesn't push X-rays (I especially appreciated that, as a nursing mom) or a bunch of follow-up visits. He even said, "Unless this is a pain you've had for 20 years, if I haven't gotten it fixed in three visits, I'm doing something wrong." That was nice to hear, as some of the chiropractors I was looking at before he was recommended seemed to expect you to be coming back for MONTHS! I've had two visits now (with instructions to make another if the pain comes back), and I feel great! If I have any more back or neck issues, I'll definitely see Jeff again.

I went sporadically and was inconsistent in my treatments. They recently changed the approach and had us both attend what i would consider a high pressure sales session. after the session they told my wife that the latest ex-rays they took showed no improvement and they would need several thousand more dollars to "fix" her neck and back. We were told that the treatments that she had in the previous 5 years were "fixing" the problem and when I confronted the "doctor" about the previous 5 years of failed treatments and wasted thousands of dollars he said "there are always new treatments coming out he thought these new treatments will help." Long story short, we found a new chiropractic office. they charged us (again) for the ex-rays that we already paid for and I'm glad to not return.
