To be honest, Shagged's décor is geared to a mostly female clientele, but someone like me isn't there for the décor. I need to get a good haircut at a price that doesn't completely empty my wallet. Shagged does that. Living in Worcester, there really isn't a whole lot of good/personable/cheap barbers or places to get a good male haircut. I tried barbers in the City, but the trendy taper crap sucks. I tried Diorio's but unless you know someone that works there, you're just another $9 and you get a sloppy cut. This is where Shagged shines. The staff is friendly first, then business like second. I like this about Shagged.
