We drove from Twin Cities to St. Cloud to demo an ebike on sale that was only available at this location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Eddie, a man of few words. When my wife asked him to describe the bike, he was silent! As she looked over the bike, she discovered a long gash on the frame that he said he was unaware of. When I asked if he would offer an additional discount, he said no, it's already discounted. Since the battery on this model was not removable and that the ebike must be stored at 50F+, we decided against it, and ended up buying a different model that we actually liked better. I went to get my boa fixed thinking that they would just do if for me in like 5 min. The worker Josh even tho nobody was in there and he was doing nothing said he would fix if and I would have to come back he had a very poor attitude and acted like he dint want me there. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop's customer service. When I called to ask a few questions, I was treated rudely and felt like my business was being dismissed. It was unprofessional and left a bad impression. I won't be returning or recommending them based on this interaction. Ever since the business expanded the quality has really gone downhill. read more

The old saw goes: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I bought two e-bikes from St. Cloud Erik's. No problem. I figured I'd get them serviced there too because why not? I don't have tools, space or time to waste at age 80. First time was pretty simple--a flat rear tire at enough thousand miles that I replaced both tires with upgrades. It wound up needing two visits, with bogus charges made and retracted and hundreds of dollars of direct and indirect costs. Plus the psychic trauma of being scammed! The other bike, after a couple thousand miles, needed rear brakes. I had negligible "pedal" left. I took it in, asked to have the rear brake fixed and the bike checked. Told them the front brake was OK and to let me know if anything else was needed. Picked it up for $186 (including "Ride Ready" charge--bogus because even simple wiring connections weren't made). [Un-needed and un-authorized work on front brakes made bike more dangerous than when brought in!] When I contacted Erik's central office about the problem, they told me, "Hope you have a great riding season." I've been a fool. I quit. Y'all ain't going to get me a third time! read more

I visited this place last weekend . It was my second time in 8 years. It is a smaller Erick's shop , but very rich in bicycles. One of the employees came back to greet me and I told him what I was looking for, electric fat bike. He told me they don't have the Abington brand, but he showed me the specialized one. I made a quick tour of the place then left. They answered a few more questions before I left. Parking was relatively easy but it was in the back of the shop. I had to come from the side of the street to get in. Good experience overall. read more

Have bought several bikes from Erik's in St Cloud. It gets back to service & my most recent visit another affirmation. Was told when I called in it would be a day turn around on service & I was fine with that. Once arrived Eddie & Josh basically said 'hold on I believe we can fix this now' even though I could see they were very busy. I was back on my way within 30 minutes and good to go! Purchased my Roubaix Comp this past spring. Eddie was my sales consultant. Process started with a conversation with Eddie late 2022. Ordered in Jan 2023. Eddie is fantastic and was as excited about the purchase as I was. 800 miles later, I am as excited for my next ride as my first. I trust the St. Cloud shop (both Josh and Eddie) for all my biking needs and great advise. Wheel set for a previous bike was purchased with Eddie's direction previously. dishonest people. they simply charge you for work they don't even complete. the ready to ride package isn't even close to helpful so the title itself is dishonest, and you pay them to refill tubeless tires and they charge you, but never refill them and change the sealant. pretty disrespectful people as well. also, who is the guy with the grey beard and glasses yelling at kids to bike on the right side of the road around here? heard some stories. these kids live in this neighborhood and know it well, you do not, and have no business saying anyting to anyone in regards to bike etiquette just becasue you work at a bike shop. read more

Then he asked what I would be using bike for. He showed me the exact bike I needed. He asked/suggested accessories but no pressure sales. Very impressed with service. I absolutely love my bike. ERIK'S prices on servicing bikes are ridiculous. I brought in my 7 year olds 16" front bike tire to have new bearings put in the hub. Keep in mind, this is a very small tire. I was told it would be $50 plus tax to have this done. I thought they were joking at first. I can get a whole new rim with hub for it for $50 brand new. I took it to another bike shop and was only charged $25. Erik's prices are horrendous, everything is way over priced. I have never shopped there before and now I will NEVER shop there again. Keep in mind, the prices are not the employees fault so this review is nothing against them. The owners need to take another look at their prices and stop over charging people for things. read more

I went in just looking for advice on bike shoes and padded shorts for my spin class. Mike came to help me right away and was very knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy when helping me. He knew small details about each product and seems very enthusiastic about this field. He also helped me last year buy and install my water bottle holder which he did at lightning speed. Big Mike took the time to explain the various bikes and styles and was very patient when questioned about the accessories. He arranged for us to take the bikes out for a test ride. Loved the bikes! We purchased the bikes and accessories. Erik's ordered the bikes we wanted, mounted the accessories and helped load the bikes on the bike rack. I went to Erick's to exchange a bike seat. Mike took the extra time to measure sit bones and ensure I have the best bike seat for my set up and body. He replaced the old bike seat with the new one, and made the necessary adjustments. I also have new ergonomic bike grips. He put them on my bike and made other adjustments to my bike that I didn't even realize I could do. He answered many unending questions regarding bike riding and set me up to be prepared in the event of a flat tire. He also took the time to explain and show me how to fix a flat. I can't say enough of the great service. I've never had such good service from any store, as he went above and beyond to make sure I was ready to ride, and comfortable. I feel like I have a new bike, it is so much more comfortable to ride after the new seat and grips and adjustments Mike made. I might add, everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable! This is my go to store for everything bike related. They have everything you need.
