I had a wonderful experience working with Kristen and Mishellle of Wildflowers Photography. My…read morehusband and I were captured some beautiful shots, and were willing to work with new cultural traditions and within a reasonable budget. It was really easy to work with Wildflowers. They are easy going and responsive over e-mail (I was based in Chicago and the wedding was in Memphis). All of our images were shared in a timely manner both online and with USB, so we were easily able access all of our photos. Kristen and Mishelle shoot is a a natural style and provided direction in our shots, but were great when I requested some specific shots and brought my family along for our engagement photos. In terms of wedding photographers, they are very affordable for two photographers and the quality of photos. I took a bit of a gamble because they had never shot an Indian wedding or at my specific venue, but I was incredibly happy with the results. We had a very non-traditional wedding (Dads were officiants, husband came in on a horse, no bridesmaids) and they worked with us to make sure that they captured some great posed, action and details shots. Of course, photographers live and die by their pictures, so look at their website- they post a selection of photos.

Steve is hands down the nicest man you will ever meet. He is so incredibly genuine and sweet and…read morefun. I absolutely loved him (and so did my mom). Just having him around on my wedding day was really calming and helped put me in a great mood, and that is more important than I realized. I didn't realize how very crucial it was to make sure I had a photographer who I really enjoyed being around, but think about it--he's there all day following you around! You really do need to love the person. And I did. Everyone did. I hate when I go to weddings and I get yelled at by the photographer--Steve is NOT that guy. His prices are very competitive and he does have packages, but you can just consider those suggestions or starting points. He'll work with you to give you whatever you want. I loved, loved, loved my photos! And he gave me ALL of the prints. All of them, which I think is amazing. He does both traditional and photojournalistic; he said photojournalistic is what he really loves to do, and it's what I had him do mainly. If you want your photos VERY artsy or modern, Steve might not be your guy. Then again, he might be--I think you could tell him what you want and he would do an awesome job with it.
