I wanted to come back and update this review after I saw all the photos and received my order. I'm even more blown away by Jen now. All of the photos were amazing- it was impossible to choose between them so we ended up purchasing a bigger package than was expected. One of the photos in the package was a large canvas wall print- it happens to be my favorite. It's gorgeous and really smart that I can use an actual photograph as art in my house. The 11x14's are also finished in a way in which you don't need glass over them in the frames. This eliminates any glare and makes them look very arty as well. I bought some really great over-sized, glass free, vintage looking frames from Hobby Lobby and they look gorgeous hanging over the fireplace mantle in our bedroom. My house is now decorated from top to bottom in photos of my newborn son simply because these photos are just too precious. Needless to say, we ended up upgrading to the Baby's First Year package Jen offers. She will be photographing our son on his 6 month and 1 year birthday now as well. I'm eagerly anticipating August and already getting ideas and purchasing props for the shoots. I know we won't have many opportunities after this first year for professional photographs with the little man, so I'm so glad we will have these to remember this time. read more

Jen did our daughter's one year photos. They are beautiful. She uses natural daylight to really capture each image. She has a calming way to make you and your child feel at ease so you don't end up with stiff poses or an upset angry child. I highly recommend her. Anyone thinking about using Jen for pictures, just BOOK her! You will not be sorry! We were just going to book the newborn package, but my husband talked me into booking the Babies First Year package, and I'm so glad we did. Her work is AMAZING. I know it's an investment to book her, but it's worth it...after all every picture she takes is a stunning piece of art. Not only is her work great, but she is really nice to work with. Just email her and she will respond with answers to any questions or concerns. She now does Fresh 48 and Birth photography.
