The only health problem I have had in my life has been with my teeth. From Age 5, it has been a hell-on-Earth litany of pain and suffering. From sadistic pediatric dentists, to braces for 10 years total, to disorders, bad dental procedures, etc, my Dental History is PAGES long!! I am scared of very very little in life.....except a dentist office. I would rather be punched in the head repeatedly and then dropped in a lion den at the zoo than walk into a dentist office...and no, I literally am not exaggerating. Seriously, that doesn't scare me, and being punched doesn't hurt (we all got into fights when we were kids, that's part of growing up). However, the dentist does. To try to finally get things fixed, I had gone to Harvard Dental School, not to the students but to the TEACHERS! I even had a Dean work on me. What better than to have the top of the top of the top of the best people work on me. They not only didn't fix me, they actually made things worse! What the heck am I going to do now? Not even the top best dentists in all of America, possibly the entire world, can fix me. I am screwed forever! I moved to Florida for work and for family. My brother goes to Doctor Soto, he told me that I would be ok there. So, I went to Doctor Soto, with my usual "Oh God, here we go again!" feeling. However, let me tell you, for the first time ever, he actually made me not feel terrified. He set up the plan, I had multiple procedures to fix all the numerous problems, and for the first time in my entire life, seriously, the first time, I can smile without being embarrassed. Doc Soto has all the titles, all the certifications, and let me tell you, he actually knows what he is doing. Dentist, orthodontist, prosthetist, cosmetic dentist, etc etc etc. Literally, he is better than a collection of Harvard Teachers all put together, and I am not just saying that, I actually have the proof right in my very own mouth, and the pictures of how I USED to look after Harvard worked on me. Harvard didn't fix me, but Doc Soto did. I no longer have any fear. He made it finally go away. My entire family goes to Soto now. Friends go, everyone goes to Soto. Heck, he and I are FB friends, and we love to talk about cars when we chat. Some people don't care about what dentist they go to. Ok, that's totally fine. However, if you do, if you worry about dentists, if you have any fears of dentists, if you have any dental problems, just walk in and let him take over. Trust me, if he can fix me, after DECADES of suffering, he can fix you. You don't have to be afraid anymore. Oh, and BTW, just to throw in since this is technically a Yelp review, his office is very nice, the gals that run the place and assist him are all super cool and friendly and organized, they are always on time, the office is run very smoothly. Theres nothing Dr. Soto can't do! Whether I need a filling, cleaning, root canal, tooth pulled, implant, IV Sedation/anesthesia, cosmetic procedure or whitening procedure Dr. Soto does it all & I've had it all! I take good care of my teeth, I'm just unlucky in that area. I haven't had gum problems yet, but Dr. Soto also specializes in all oral care including orthodontics. No more going to a different type of dentist for different procedures & best of all it can all be pain free! I have been a patient for over ten years and love how the office treats me and their other patients. Dr. Soto and his staff genuinely listened to my concerns and provided personalized care for my specific needs. I don't feel like just a patient when I visit the office, I feel more like a friend. Dr. Ernie Soto is the best dentist I ever had. i have been his patient for over 20 years now and have never gone to any one else since then. Unbelievable doctor and man! True human being with a heart. He loves his work and it shows. I never felt like a number, a way to obtain money, a problem...I was treated with the utmost respect from day one until this very day. I was not afraid of dentists. I was petrified!!! I know longer feel this way. Jennifer is his front desk angel. She always helps me, fits me in for adjustments, is kind, caring and compassionate. My negative outlook has changed about dentists, my fear completely gone and I have a full out smile! I had a very complicated case and drove an HOUR to meet Dr. Ernie Soto. Dr. Soto had the expertise to take care of everything and with minimal pain and no suffering! I opted for IV sedation and it was the best decision of my life! Dr. Soto and his entire team understood the negative experiences I've had in the past and my anxieties. They calmly explained everything, made me comfortable and did an AMAZING job with the procedure. I woke up to a warm blankie, smiling faces, and fresh water. I had no pain and was ready to go home! The entire staff/team is friendly and helpful. It's been a 5-star experience the whole way! It's now been 2 days since my procedure and although it was very complicated, I'm healing great and am experiencing very little pain. I've never had such a wonderful experience with a dentist! Dr.Soto is an amazing dentist. I've had many different procedures done by him and all were wonderful experiences! I've been sedated for my wisdom teeth to be removed, had implants, cleanings, etc. All great experiences. I had no complications after my surgery or any other procedure! There is no better dentist out there. I use to fear the dentist, but his professional and kind demeanor always makes you feel safe. He takes his time with each patient to make sure you understand what you have going on and how he plans to treat it. His prices are fair especially for the service you receive from not only him but his entire staff! You don't just feel like a patient, but part of a family.. I have lost teeth in the front of my mouth because of Dr, Soto. He is a total scam. Anything for money, This man is definitely a disgrace to dentistry. Dr. Soto is an incredible doctor! Words can't describe how amazing he is. He is attentive, honest/trustworthy, caring, compassionate, and very very knowledgable. I have never been able to trust a dentist until I met Dr. Soto. I have been going to Dr. Soto for many years and he even fixed dental work that other dentists did poorly. I had developed a terrible fear of dentists after a botched wisdom tooth surgery and another very unpleasant episode with another dentist. I went with no dental care for almost 25 years. About 4 years ago, I finally got my courage together and went to see Dr. Soto. He spent 45 minutes just talking to me before he even looked at my mouth. Professional and accommodating in an emergency. My old bridge broke and I did not have a dentist yet in Florida. On a family recommendation I called Dr Soto's office late one afternoon. His staff was wonderful in fitting me in that day and setting up appt again for next day. I especially appreciated Jennifer going out of her way and staying late to coordinate with the lab so that it was fixed in record time. I went here for a consult to get cosmetic work done and felt like the dr was all about the $$$. He kept trying to push sedation on me even though I told him that I had a lot of dental work done in my life and was not really phobic. his staff were ok, but it seemed like a lot of them were new so that's never a good sign.
