Today, Dr. Simon examined my daughter, and I understand you need to get close to do an examination, but he had his legs spread and was so close to her on the chair that her knees were touching between his legs. He stayed like this even after the examination while he was talking to me, and this made me very uncomfortable. In hindsight, I wish I had asked him to move, but was just kind of waiting for him to and he never did until the very end of the appointment. The worst part, is that while he was in that position, he asked my daughter how she got sick. She explained that she thought she got it from her best friend, a girl in her class, and he said, "I know how you REALLY got it. From your boyfriend." And leaned in towards her face and made a bunch of kissing noises. I couldn't believe he would say this to a six-year-old girl. It was wildly inappropriate. Not to mention, he grabbed my hand while it was rested on my lap while explaining my daughter's treatment to me... Until now, this has been a truly wonderful practice. I've always been happy with the treatment my daughter has received, but this situation made me so uncomfortable that I'm switching to another provider immediately.

The food is the most awful tasting, looking, smelling garbage. They've used the excuse of remodeling is THE ISSUE! No there's no system in place. Patients don't get food, and when they do it's always wrong. Now I was in the hospital Jan,Feb,part of March then again in April and most recently NOW! The staff do not pay any attention to detail. Does the patient have the right order, is it checked off - no! I spoke to a food manager and she says they've tried to get them to pay attention. I mean in 5 days not one meal has been correct. They'd leave an item off or forget me completely. I've worked in food service for many years and I I guarantee you the employees just don't give a darn! So I've ranted and raved enough. This system is broken. They need to get professionals to come here and fix the issue!

I rarely have to go to the doctor and this particular time I did I wasn't going to be able to get…read morein to my doctor for 6 days! So I called around to the nearest UTC to me and found North Lexington Treatment Assoc. After calling first to ask a few questions I Ubered over to seek treatment. It wasn't anything life threatening, but needed to be addressed before another week went by. There was some paperwork to fill out upon arriving, but my wait time was less than 15 minutes. The staff was very nice and really seemed to like where they worked. My nurse listened closely to my issue and explained everything that she was going to do. The Dr was in my room shortly after and was very nice. She made me feel at ease and relaxed ( i was a bit freaked out). She prescribed and called in my prescription so that by the time I ubered over to the pharmacy it was ready for me. I have to say I was very pleased with the whole experience. Way better than waiting a week and way better than going to the germ factory (emergency room). I would say my total time at the UTC was less than 45 minutes! Remarkable. I will definitely use them again.
