But then, they identified several other issues - water main only 1/2 ON, leaking underground pipes, back yard valves with no covers (and one under a poured patio!) and some heads that weren't doing the job. They told me what problems I had, told me how much it would cost to make right (VERY reasonable) and set to work doing the work with no wasted time or effort. The work was done extremely well - on budget - and my front and back lawn sprinklers are now working as they should have when first installed. Fixed front and rear stations, leaking pipes, head replacements and construction of a new back yard valve and sprinkler location - five hours, $500 labor AND PARTS! VERY REASONABLE FOR THE WORK DONE AND DONE RGHT! I greatly respect Johnny and Billy for their integrity, work ethic, knowledge and professionalism. Need sprinkler repair or new construction? Backstory to begin: We have had "the same" clog in our kitchen drain 4x since we purchased our…read morehome. We've previously used a well-known local company to unclog the blockage. Last time they were here, WITHOUT EVEN PUTTING A CAMERA DOWN THE PIPE, they recommended either hydro jetting the pipes OR just replacing the pipes all together. Since the drain was running after they snaked it, we decided to hold off on moving forward with the options they presented. Fast forward about 8 months to now, the infamous clog had returned (big surprise) so I started researching other plumbing companies to get other opinions. I had already gotten a $1600-2500 quote for replacing the sewer pipe from a different company when I called I Fix Pipe for the hydro jetting option. I explained what we already "knew" according to the well-known company. Steve, with I Fix Pipe, recommended that we instead, start with snaking the pipe and running a camera down so we can determine the ACTUAL PROBLEM. (Me: Wow! Yeah, that sounds GREAT! For some reason, I just trusted what the initial company told me.) Steve then explained to me that Hydro Jetting is great (in the right situation) but without seeing what was going on in the pipe, it might not be the right course of action. I REALLY appreciate how this company didn't just sell me what I had asked for. I'm glad they have the customer's interest in mind, not just making money. One quote Steve said that really impressed me was when I thanked him for giving me all the info, he said, "Well, I'm treating you how I would want to be treated." THANK YOU! Our service technician was "AZ" (and I didn't catch the name of his coworker- sorry). They were both AMAZING, so knowledgeable and very professional. AZ was able to answer the "ba-zillion" questions I had. They snaked our line and then ran a camera down. It was neat to be able to be out there and watch them work. Price was great! They really treat customers like family! I Fix Pipe is going to get us some quotes on hydro jetting our line and line replacement (to a larger diameter pipe). This is DEFINITELY our new plumbing company! We will be working with them again for any of our plumbing needs!
