You have quick access off Hwy 153 to put you in a good mood from the start, and you're pushing out to sea a couple minutes later. All the normal amenities you'd expect at a gated boathouse, minus the hustle and bustle as you embark hassle-free. It costs a little more monthly, but upside is you have a spot versus the waiting list at the cheaper places down the bay. I rented a boat from Erwin for my family's visit to Chattanooga the day after the 4th of July. I called three days before and they still had a pontoon boat available:) This was my first time renting a boat so I had a lot of questions. I called several places before and this, to my knowledge, is the only place that will refund your money if it is unsafe to go out due to weather, which is huge! Also, I believe this is one of the few places that does half days. I was so excited to find both of these things out because I was extremely worried about the weather and staying out all day. We rented the pontoon boat for the morning, 9 am, on a Friday for a half day. This was 300$ and the boat did not disappoint! Again, not a boat person so sorry I don't know all the details but it was brand new!! So pretty and nice. The gentleman at the marina offered to take all of our stuff down to the boat once we checked in. They gave a detailed overview of safety and how to use the boat and we were off! When we wanted to come back I called the manager and he met us to help us in. We filled the tank with gas and we were all settled. Again, they assisted with our bags. There were no hidden fees and all three of the guys were absolutely wonderful. 5 stars for the boat, I would give more if possible 5 stars for the customer service 5 stars for how easy the whole process was! The reservation process was easy, even when the first day was s rain out (full refund no hassle), getting on the craft (brand new) was easy and time effective and the return was very simple.
