First visit was very good fairly busy Saturday shortly after noon. Had no problem getting seating for four in the marina bar building. Service was a little slow, but just gave us more time to chat. Great food and service. They went above and beyond for us when we came to see some music in an outdoor setting. Going so far as to set up a table just for us (I'm in a wheelchair). Just super nice. I had the pineapple shrimp and my wife had the flatbread pizza. Both were top flight. We heard a great band that night, too. Beautiful lakeside atmosphere. I highly recommend. read more

One of my favorite places to eat in the area! My family recently moved here and stopped in to check it out and there wasn't anything me or any of my family members didn't like. Everyone is so friendly, especially our waitress Odessa who made our experience even more enjoyable (even my kids commented how nice she was). The owners are super friendly and engaging also. My daughter and I will go once in a while for some girl time and just to get some snacks... their pretzel bites are the best I've had and forget about the sweet potato wafer fries... they should be on the desert menu! We boat ride up to the marina as often as we can. The ride is beautiful, but so is the marina! So well taken care of. The service isn't the absolute best I've had, but everyone is so friendly and helpful I don't really ding them for that. The brunch is great!!! Beignets, egg Sammy, kids waffles, wings, all grrrreat! Went here on recommendation from friends. Maybe a Saturday afternoon in late March is not the best time to come. We were less than impressed. First off, it was just 72° outside (a little cool and rainy) yet the air conditioning inside must have been set at about 68° so the first thing I had to do was go get my jacket to wear to stay warm. Our waitress was overworked and thus service was slow. We ordered the homemade pork rinds as an appetizer and a round of drinks. About 10 minutes later were told they were out of pork rinds. We each ordered the Bacon Jam burger and a side salad. There was no salt and pepper on the table and we didn't want to ask our overworked server to get some for the salad. The dressing was scant annd appeared watered down. There was no choice offered of how we wanted the burger cooked, and they came out well-done and dry. The bacon jam saved them. When we got our check we found out there was an upcharge for the side salad if you chose it as your side. There was no mention of that on the (office paper) menu nor did our server inform us. I told her that it would have been nice to know and she did apologize. How hard is it to print a clear menu? It would also be nice to know the price of drinks before ordering. Since you just have your menu on paper it would seem easy enough to do inexpensively. Maybe we didn't get your "signature" good food, but I doubt we will be back. read more

I have debated on even making a post or not! I use to LOVE B&B, we have talked about visiting the new place for a while and finally decided to tonight. The food was decent, and service was good. Even from the group of people I have known to be there most have been super friendly. However, there was this one group that was rude, overbearing, and acted like they ran the place. They asked us if we were getting up to leave or stay to listen to them live music, we didn't know about the music because it was our first time under new management. This group even said "we got here too late. " We hadn't had a chance to even talk about staying or not from when our waitress mentioned, when someone from the group asked about our table. We hadn't even finished our dinner. After that the group was being very loud and obnoxious, what seems like we were getting up for them, and by that point we were just ready to go. They actually ruined our time at B&B. What really put the place as a bad taste in my mouth was as we were leaving this group started making rude comments to us that were very unnecessary. All in all to say if you like decent food and a beautiful view, but rude and obnoxious people who apparently are often there, B&B is the place for you! I was looking forward to going back but after that I'm really not sure. I'm sure my fiancé will not want to go back after tonight. read more

I would never recommend this restaurant any longer. We have been long time B&B customers from dinner to brunch. I will never be back. After a hour wait for our food and multiple tables getting their brunch special prior to us, we were told by the kitchen manger who was making the brunch special that if we had a problem not to come back. We were asking about our food because we had waited over and hour for our food and everyone around us had gotten their brunch special. When the owner/kitchen manager slapped her hands in my mothers face and said if we do not like do not come back. MYSELF OR MY FAMILY/FRIENDS WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

We planned on spending the night with our boat in the transit slip. We tied up to the fuel dock to fuel up and asked if we could stay there till the wind died down as our 34' SunTracker Regency Houseboat is a bear to try to dock with a crosswind. The folks there were great and just asked us to move in front of a different pump that they were not using. We had planned a get together at the restaurant with a bunch of friends, so we hung out waiting for them and enjoying the wonderful evening. There ended up being 10 of us. The restaurant quickly got busy and although we had to wait awhile for food, it was all good as we were having a great time. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The hit seemed to be the bacon jam burger. I tried a bite of my husbands and it was good. I had the potato skins. There were ok, however the actual bacon bits tasted a bit off and they were cool from sitting in the window too long. However I was hungry, so they did the trick! Used to love coming before the remodel. Looks appropriate for a night out, the setup is less than efficient. Prices are as expected on the water. Missing stars are due to 1. Having to go from the pump to the store before I pump gas and after I pump gas. Is that really the best system? The other star is a result of the bartender being an a**. After spending $6.20 a gallon for 20 gallons I go in and ask for a water and he denied me water. In America. Denied me water. Will not be returning because of this. read more

My family & I launched our pontoon from there & spent all night & most of the day fishing in the local waters around the marina. When we began to leave, our engine wouldn't start (it's an older finicky 2-stroke). The cell service completely drops out in some spots & we were in one of those spots. I was able to get a broken call into the marina & enough said that they understood that we were nearby & stranded somewhere. Some minutes later we seen a jet ski in the distance speedily darting in & out of every little inlet around until it was close enough that we could flag it down. It was Ryan, the owner of the Marina. He had apparently left the marina, went home, got his jet ski and began to search for us. He pulled us all the way back to the marina. Even though all of his boat slips were full, he found a place to let us dock our boat for the night - until I could bring back a fresh battery the next day. His staff and another patron helped us unload the boat and get all of our gear to the car while My wife, son and my son's puppy were invited to the pavilion to meet his wife and cool off. Ryan refused to accept any payment at all for the time, tow or docking overnight. He genuinely seemed to just want to make sure we were all ok. The next day I brought my new battery cranked the boat & loaded it up. As I was tying it up for the trip home he came over to chat, remembered my name and seemed disappointed that He hadn't been asked to help with loading the boat. I can't stress enough how remarkable this experience was. I've met very few people in my life that are this caliber of genuinely nice and helpful. Considering that at this point, I'd only spent $5 total at this marina for the parking fee, to receive this level of service and consideration is unheard of. These people are amazing. The grounds are meticulously kept and clean. My wife and I can't wait to try the restaurant. This is a rare find. My family and I will be going back every weekend now. I am now a patron for life. read more

I have never rated anything before but I saw the reviews on here and had to speak up. First off it is a great location and the service is great. The food is good as well. The one review that just gave one star is ridiculous. This place is not a chain restaurant or a buffet. They have a great selection for what it is and the owner makes a great Brunswick stew. If you want friendly service and decent food give them a try. I have traveled the world and I know what good food and great service are. We are lucky to have small businesses like this in our community. Go out and support non chain restaurants and stores. read more

Plus one for being the closest marina to my house, but it's pretty basic. If rental boats are your thing they have one tired pontoon here, I'd go towards chatt instead... They also have priced their slips at same rates as nicer marinas closer to Chattanooga with more amenities. You can do worse, but you can also do better...
