She is very realistic and cost conscious. She is firm about her personal limits but always has great suggestions for where to go if she doesn't provide the service. When we had to euthanize 2 of our dogs, she and her staff were awesome. With Abby, we were in to pick up medicine monthly. I was struggling with when the right time to say enough. She sat and talked with me and cried with me. Over 2 years with our dog with painful arthritis, crippling anxiety, and dementia, she stepped up treatment and always focused on her comfort. I have so many stories about the great care including dental and then referral to UT for specialist dentist. We feel like they love our dogs and care for our family.

My girlfriends dog patience is a 5-year old pit bull started acting sick I waited about 2-hours…read moreuntil I seen she's was very sick I live in evergreen area and took 15mins to get there had one doctor who was in surgery and was unable to help that I understand completely but they were three very nice ladies who said that there's nothing they could do so they sent me to Johnson city patience was alert and breathing when we were there but instead of trying to help her or give her something they just said they only had one doctor and he was busy with another patient which I understand completely but out of the three very nice ladies it looks like one of them could have checked patience over to see if there's was anything they could have done to help her get to Johnson city anyway patience stop breathing turning off of roan st exit I wasn't upset with them I was upset at my self for wasting time stopping there when I should have just went to Johnson city in the first place patience may be alive now the hardest thing I had to do was tell my girlfriend when she got home from work that patience had passed away she at first wouldn't except it then the next question from her was what did you do to her and couldn't say anything and now I'm working the back yard building a casket and she is in a very bad place I'm going way off course here but my question is one doctor three maybe four nurses who could not help at all why is the doctor the only one who can make decisions as to what the animal needs instead of doing greeting and paper work maybe grooming I personally don't know but out of all the people that work there why is the only one who can make a call is in surgery and the rest can't help but give you chucky cheese address and say the vet is next door and don't forget that there close from 12 to 1 for lunch if that doesn't piss you off then I hope that you're never in the situation I found myself in today maybe I'll take a look at how the veterinarians operate in this small area we call home owners of pets make a plan for if you're pet becomes sick do you really want to waste your time stopping at Unicoi animal hospital I don't think I will unless it's a vaccination just the day I've had and watching the person I love go through hell and I have no answer
