I have never met Andrew but co-owner Julie Ann is a sweetheart and super helpful. Some of their items are higher priced ($100+) but you can certainly find less expensive items here as well, including their sale rack (but with limited sizes). They also offer a great variety of great accessories and at good price. If I had more money to spend, I'd go on crazy shopping sprees at this store. A definite "must visit" for anyone a fan of the rockabilly or pin-up styles.

One of the bags I chose was the last one available company-wide, and she made sure I inspected it thoroughly just in case there were any defects (thankfully, there weren't!). For another bag, she went above and beyond by offering a brand-new one from the back since the floor model had a small imperfection. When I mentioned I couldn't take gift boxes due to luggage space, Fei kindly provided me with folded boxes and gift wrap so I could still present everything beautifully when I got home. She included boxes for the purses, and even smaller ones for wallets and card holders. Fei, thank you for making my shopping trip so special you're truly amazing!

As a last ditch effort, I called this location and much to my disappointment, I received the same response. It was not the answer I wanted to hear as much as it was not the answer she wanted to give so she asked me to hold while she took a physical look around the store and in the back. Tada! She found my purse!!! I'm still not sure why it wasn't showing in their inventory but I was thankful that she took the effort to actually look for it. It was late on a Wednesday night and I knew I wouldn't be able to go to Niagara Falls until the weekend so I asked if she could hold it for me. From what I understand, they typically only hold an item for 48 hours but she extended that for me to ensure the purse would be held until the following Monday, giving me plenty of time to make the trek out to the Falls. We left after work on Friday and two hours later, I had my purse. :)))) The store itself is nicely laid out and, at 6pm on a Friday, was busy, but not overly crowded. All of the staff I spoke with were friendly and ready to help. My overall experience at this location was excellent and I would have to say, it's definitely worth checking them out.

Whenever I step into this store, it's never with the intention to buy, but browse, just to check out the quality of the merchandise, flip the price tags over, etc. Anyway, I just wanted to write this review after my positive experience with one of their younger, female, possibly Eastern European, salesgirl. I found her pleasant, unpretentious, not too intrusive, knowing when to ask for help/give space, and she was helpful when I asked her about cuts of jeans. This is a large Barneys outlet store…read more Barneys is hit or miss in NYC and in the outlet stores. You may or may not like what they are carrying today. But its always high end and high quality. One things I will say, at their outlet stores in general, be careful to look for missing buttons or loose stitching. Sometimes they don't catch it before they put it on the floor.
