Visited the haunted forrest hay ride and haunted house at Escape Medina and we had a blast. We took my kids and my daughter's boyfriend with us and when we bought tickets the sales lady suggested we get the speed pass since it was a busy night and the lines were long. I asked her if it was worth it and she said, "I think so". I wasn't sure, but for only $10 more per person, we went ahead and bought fast passes. On a non-busy night, I wouldn't suggest that, but on this night, it was totally worth it. The construction of the buildings throughout the place was very well done. Top notch in terms of build quality - they spared no expense, even of the places out in the woods. They were built to last. The wait in each line was about 30 minutes long. With the fast pass, we walked straight past the line and there was no waiting at all. That was a total win and my family was very appreciative of the additional investment. We were in and out of the place in just over an hour. Otherwise, it would've been closer to three hours. First, we rode the hay ride, which included actors chasing you and telling gruesome stories along with animatronics. People were screaming and trying to hide from the monsters, but there is nowhere to go on a hay ride. Chainsaws. Lots of chainsaws. Next, we walked the haunted trail, which was pretty cool. Then we visited the haunted house. It was very cool. The actors pay much more attention to people who are act scared, so there's a pro tip for you. Don't act scared and they won't bother you. Afterwards, we munched on some chili cheese fries and regular french fries while sitting around the warm bonfire. They were pretty tasty. Very fun escape room in Medina off of 18. We went with two other couples and chose a medical based room. The room was nicely decorated for the game. Clues were thoughtfully hidden. Come here during spooky season and you can go through Forest of Screams. Had fun! Enjoyed going through the different haunted attractions. This is primarily an outdoor event if you do the Forest of Screams so dress appropriately. If you come for Escape Medina, it's indoors. The actors did an excellent job of being scary. Allow at least an hour to an hour and a half to go through Forest of Screams. Fast passes are available if you don't like to wait in lines. read more

We had a blast here at Escape Medina. We were a little early and not all of our group was there, so they asked if we would want to take a look at one of their newer rooms. The detail they put into the room was awesome. So when our group was all there we started our room, the pharaohs curse. There was a lot of detail to this room as well, and you really had to think outside the box on some of the clues. It was challenging and that really made it fun and interesting. We used all of our clues and made it out with 9 minutes left. We're looking forward to checking out some other the other tools which they told us are harder than the one we just completed. read more

It was surprisingly better than I expected for a haunted house that includes a wagon ride. They put a lot of money into it and rely heavily on animatronics which were pretty cool. The female actor walking around at the beginning while you waited in line did a great job! The haunted house and trail were fun to walkthrough. A few jump scares but overall it was just more fun. The wagon ride was very repetitive. Every time you stopped, an actor would step onto the wagon, look at you, growl or make some comment, then step off. Some of their costumes/makeup were seemingly thrown together last minute. The biggest problem that ruined the wagon ride experience were the other people on the wagon with you. This group of people would not shut up and talked loudly. They made it all about themselves, hooting and hollering, talking over the actors. It starts off with a dialogue to setup the theme and these rude, arrogant people talked over him the whole time. It wasn't just on the wagon that you were subjected to rude customers, it was in line too. Another group of these rude, arrogant punks repeatedly cut in line. We were in line for 20 minutes when these punks got in line and immediately tried cutting before I blocked them. Later they cut their way right behind us. They were in the wagon after us, but finished the haunted house before us because they kept cutting in line. They were also smoking weed and left a bottle of Ciroc by the railing. There were multiple people smoking weed, cussing, with little kids in line. It's supposed to be a fun family event, but the people that go there don't make it so. Its not that far from Akron so it's not a surprise, but it would be nice if this place upped security and booted these punks out so they could go back to hanging out at the 7/11 while people that actually have common decency and respect for others can enjoy the haunted house. read more

All i said was, Gonna be alot if disappointed people come Friday the 13th. They are marketing it as a Jason event when its not gonna go down like people are expecting it to. Two guys managed to sneak glocks and an AR-15 into the hayride line and pointed it at another man who they were arguing with. Security is obviously terrible. There are only three experiences and they were all mediocre at best. read more

If you are a child that has never seen a horror movie or been around anything scary this place is for you! Not a scary haunted house in any stretch of the imagination. There's more props that move than people that work there. Also that's if the electronic props even go off when you walk by. They send you through the haunted forest way to soon so you see all the scares from the group in front of you. Would not pay 30$ a person, wouldn't even pay $15.Don't go save your money! This place is not adhering fully to any of the COVID-19 protocols. People are lining up super close to one another, and there is no management trying to actually stop people from gathering in groups. Also, they aren't adhering to any mask mandates, and only posted signs, but people were still not wearing masks and were still allowed on the property. We kindly asked for a refund, but the woman cashier accosted us, saying that we only wanted a refund because we "didn't want to wait in line." The rooms here are high quality with top of the line props. You can tell the owner is highly passionate that the visitors are satisfied. Clues are challenging and make you think outside of the box at times. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is the best escape room that I have tried in the northeast Ohio area.
