Great place to go if you want to hang with your family for the evening. There nothing better than getting a good scare.

I haven't been there for over 10 years and was sad that you no longer walk through the building in the woods, but the maze was great. highly recommend purchasing the skip the line passes on line, they were only $35 bucks and literally just scanned a QR code and got in line for the next wagon, lovely! No cell service so if you want to buy anything from a vendor I suggest bringing cash ( no atms ) but the facility itself is set up for these things. A lovely guy I wanna say Caden..? was so helpful ! we had a great moms night out.

There are some scary things along the short hayride, but then you get off and do the walk through part. 2.) if you are sensitive to strobe lights there are MANY throughout the corn maze part. 3.) buy your tickets online in advance and save yourself from waiting in a the much longer line to purchase them there. It would be worth the wait, regardless, but if you have a fidgety kid purchasing online in advance will be a big help. 4.) bottom floor of the main barn consists of the concession stand, chairs and tables to sit and eat at and the restrooms. Top floor had pumpkins, Indian corn, cornstalks and a few vendors. Nice selection of pumpkins; we bought a 45 lb one! (P.S. they take cash and cards.) This was our first year going to Cheeseman's and we plan to return every single year going forward

Update when contacted about my review on Facebook they proceeded to argue with me and then blocked…read moreme from responding. They then took down my review. Is that really how you want to run a business Very upsetting and disappointed on how the Haunted Woods is handling the closing of the hayride. My niece went with her friend and spent her own money to go on the hayride. There were no signs or notices that it was not running this year. After they paid they were told it's only the maze which they did not want to do. They asked for a refund immediately and was refused. This is poor business ethics and a terrible way to treat children. At the time there was no posts or sins that said no refunds either so it's very unethical. Will never go there and advise others to spend your hard earned money elsewhere too!

I am absolutely disappointed in this attraction. After spending the $18 per person to go through…read morethe poorly drawn up "maze", my group of friends and I went on the hayride. It was only about 5 minutes into the hayride that the tractor came to a sudden stop. The driver had explained that she was getting hay thrown at her. She rudely accused everyone on the hayride of "disrespecting her." Not only 2 minutes after that incident, another employee abruptly stopped the hayride once again. This time, the approach was more aggressive. This employee began to swear at the customers on the hayride. He called us "assholes." Mind you, there are children on this ride. When I didn't think it could get worse, it did. After the hayride was over, the employee approached my husband and falsely accused him of throwing the hay. I was in total shock that they would wrongly point the finger at a 25 year old man. After that, I marched right up to the front counter and demanded my money back. As a matter a fact, everyone on the hayride got their money back. I will NOT be going back to this attraction. Nor will i suggest a friend to go here.

I tried going down without the light but I've fallen down the stairs a few years and and broke my ankle as a result so I wasn't about to do it again. I turned the flash on my camera and shined it downwards so I could see the stairs and 3 guys at the bottom working the event yelled at me all simultaneousl, "turn the light off!! Common turn it off you can't do that!! I said back, okay okay I'm sorry I can't see I don't want to fall. they said some snide comments to me about it and I turned it off. theyd rather their guests fall i Guess in a not so safe setting? A member from our group was like no it's okay if you fall well just sue. and the guys working said event go " well we'll sue you for blinding us directly in the eyes with a flashlight" to which I responded "I never shined light in your eyes! I shined it on the stairs so I don't fall and break my ankle again." To which they said, "I know you didn't but I'm just saying that has happened." I said "yeah okay then", finally at the bottom of the stairs. He then ends saying to me "yeah ok Karen." after getting through it, we left. Clearly they don't care about safety or visibility of the guests and we were extremely disappointed. Clearly we were not the only guests that needed a flashlight to get down these stairs based on how they reacted; didn't even give me a chance to turn it off without 4 of them bombarding me about it. I won't be back.

It's sad it can take one person to wreck people from going back to an event. The owner also needs to have the tours go down to where the vendors are. I have heard complaints some hardly get anyone in their room because they don't have the tours go down the vendor hall. Haunted Hill View Manor is a cool place, from what I understand. It's just disappointing the owner wouldn't talk to the others, who were blackballed by Stacia.

Overall, though, I can't wait to go back!
