When I was first arrested my family and I panicked, hiring the first law firm that popped up in Google. I would not use this law firm (Musca & Associates) to fight a parking ticket! The first attorney they sent was missing teeth, extremely unkempt, unorganized and messy. We asked for another one to be assigned. This new attorney, while a very nice guy, was passive, overworked, missed court dates and botched the bond reduction hearing by never informing us we needed our witnesses present rather than just having notarized letters. Ms. Athan gave me more information and had done more research from the time we called until she met me a couple days later than the other firm had done in 3 months. The psychologist was not some "hired gun" for the defense either. This was a professional who often works for the State and is well respected by Judges and prosecutors. The computer expert was able to show that I was not near the scene of the many of the alleged offenses and that there was no direct evidence tying me to them.
