They have a wide selection of items and is a great restaurant for a large party. I ordered the salmon dinner. Each meal is served with their house salad. The dressing they use is delicious! It's a honey mustard base but it's not overpowering and is very light and refreshing. If you get anything from this review please please please try the crujiente de platano for dessert! It's so delicious, has great texture from the crunchy cookie/wafer crujiente, and is still very light! It was definitely the table's show stopper for the evening. The service is incredible. They are generous and very attentive. They have menus in both English and Spanish. I believe our waiters name was Alejandro. He was very kind and did his best to communicate with us in casual conversation throughout the evening. I'd highly recommend this establishment!

Beautiful decor, open air all around, filled with happy people. The service of course is impeccable. The bread came with 3 salsas, they were all amazing. The sausage and asparagus appetizers were absolutely delicious. My La Vaca steak was fatty, juicy, seasoned well, cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place!

However, Los Chilaquiles has the best I've ever had. I had breakfast here with friends a few days ago. First, the restaurant is beautiful, classy, roofed but open in the front (no worries, Guadalajara has wonderful weather), you're greeted by a gorgeous old carriage, and by staff dressed in traditional charro attire. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of chilaquiles and many other entrees. There are red, green, mole, poblano, and other kinds of chilaquiles from which to choose. I had some with egg, and extra grated cheese and loved it. The ambience is casual but nice. You could go dressed up or casual and fit in. I would have taken more pictures, but I didn't want to be rude to my hosts who invited me. If you like Mexican food and chilaquiles, if you are ever in Guadalajara you need to ensure Los Chilaquiles is on your list of places to go. The service we experienced was first rate. They are located on Avenida Patria in between the Andares Shopping Center and the Plaza Universitaria. There is valet parking.

On our last day in Guadalajara, my special someone and I decided to do a bit of shopping. We got a…read moretip from the hotel staff about this place, so we made our way over here. The route here took less than 20 minutes by uber. We were dropped off in this small street, that intersects this fine shopping center. Because it was a weekday, there was not a lot of foot traffic throughout this place, which was actually a good thing. We noticed tons of shops that we'd find back home in LA, to include high end brands. There were many fine eateries, as well as fast food options on the upper levels of the mall. Since we already had food back at the hotel, we decided to eat something small at Carl's Jr. We shopped at Palacio de Hierro, which is similar to Nordstrom in quality. The place was kept immaculately clean, and the staff throughout the center was very nice and accomodating. After getting done shopping, we hailed an uber to head back to the hotel. I'm glad that we made the time to come here. It's a nice shopping center thats on par with Del Amo Fashion Center in LA's south bay. If you have great taste in fashion, or just need to pick something up for an event, this is a good option in the Guadalajara metro area.

There is a hotel attached and the mall is huge so it sprawls across two sections. I would recommend eating at the seafood place across the street.

The front view from the main road looks like greenery and difficult to see it's a restaurant. The best part about that is that is where the outdoor seating is and you feel like you are out of the city in a great cozy spot with loads of ambiance. Service was great, waiters were attentive enough. Food was good, I wouldn't say great. We were a party of four, two adults and two kids. We appreciate they have a few vegetarian options and ordered the cheese enchiladas, three different tacos, chile renello and the queso fundido. Tortillas were plentiful and the salsas were very tasty. The "chips" they gave us when we sat were from a big Tostitos bag and obviously store bought not homemade like most places, this surprised me since the first time I got chips in Mexico that were from a bag...we don't even get these in USA at restaurants (always hot or fresher ones). The stars of our meal were: Arroz y Frijoles (yes, the rice and beans were better than our meals). My sons Enchiladas with verde sauce were all our favorite and had a good flavor. MY favorite of all was my Margarita Tamarindo, the best one I have ever had! If i wasn't so full I would have had 5 more! haha. This restaurant has been around for a LONG time and I can see why, I appreciate the veg options and I will surely be back everytime i'm in GDL. A must try!
