They are strict with security protocols so remember two forms of proper ID. All your personal belongings are locked up in a locker. I was provided with a pencil, scratch paper, and a basic calculator. The office is near construction and some sound does bleed through the walls. Earphones and earplugs were provided. It was a minor distraction. Special thanks to Ria who was my proctor. I was really nervous to take my exam but her calm demeanor and professional guidance helped me tremendously. She was very kind, walked me through the process, and checked on me during the exam. I really appreciated her kind assistance. Overall, an excellent experience!

He followed up every session with a detailed evaluation, which he sent the next day. Our son received an 800 on the math section, and 690 on the verbal. And, most important, he was admitted, early decision, to the college he most wanted to attend. The standardized testing regime is awful, biased, and a rip off. But, until it withers and dies off, places like Competitive Edge Tutoring are very helpful in getting through it.

I worked with my son last summer (2020) to help him prepare for the SHSAT. We made progress, but…read morewe hit a wall after a couple of months. My son was close but not quite up to the level he needed to be to get an offer from any of the specialized schools. He was burned out, and the uncertainty about whether, when, and how the SHSAT would be administered didn't help. It wasn't until mid-January, a little more than two weeks before the test, that my son regained enough enthusiasm to refocus. I got in contact with Ed, and he very quickly set up a short series of private sessions for my son with Adnan. I had my doubts about how much could be accomplished in just a few sessions, but these were put to rest in the first 10 minutes working with Adnan -- it was clear that he had the expertise to quickly assess my son's strengths and weaknesses and make very productive use of the limited time available. After four sessions my son felt a lot more comfortable with material he had been struggling with and confident about his prospects. I was very pleased and highly recommend Antoine Education. (While the test results would not have impacted my review, I decided to wait until the receiving them in hopes of having a better story to tell.
