I friend of mine told me about ESPA a few weeks ago. She attended one of their essential oils classes, got a free service for that and then got hooked up. My busy schedule did not allow me to make an appointment until last week, even though she kept insisting that I HAVE TO GO. She loved the place so much that she purchased their monthly membership( GREAT DEAL by the way). So when I finally visited the spa last week I realized why she was so persistent. It trully is a SPA, an escape from the stress, a place where you can relax and experience positive energy. My massage was phenomenal, but what I liked the most was the warm mineral bath. It came with a complimentary cup of tea to enjoy during the bath. I chose their rose extract bath and was surprised to find out that not only did it have all natural products, but it also had rose petals floating in the water. How thoughtfull! My skin has never felt better. Their staff is also very refreshing comparing to other places around here. It is a place worth visiting. And until you do so, you really can't understand why it is so unique. read more

I planned a little spa trip for my friends birthday, and it was planned blindly since I live 3 hours away. I found this spa online and called to make an appt. they were so helpful from beginning to end and very accommodating. The visit itself was above and beyond expectations. I had the 60 min massage and the exfoliating scrub. I was a little apprehensive about it since I'm not a big massage person but it was the most relaxing experience and exactly what I needed. The vanilla scrub was just amazing and made my skin glow. They are also very attentive to your massage preferences and my friend that also got a massage and has back problems said that her therapist was also very attentive to what what she could handle and what would help her and not hurt her back. The whole experience is just very peaceful and feels like a mini vacation that you don't want to end! I can't wait to go back, I'll be making it a point to go every chance I return! read more

A lovely day spa located in a quaint area of Highland, IN. An out of town friend treated me to a surprise facial and massage at ESPA. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. I received an awesome facial followed by a wonderful massage in a very pleasant setting. The staff was very accommodating and competent. I didn't feel rushed to leave and was treated to water and tea to relax following the visit. Not given the opportunity to research the spa before my visit, I was impressed with the services offered and seasonal specials. Amazing little gem. It's a little hard to find but that's part of the adventure. I got a facial, bath, massage and scrub and it was pure luxury. Starting with my facial the tech was very knowledgeable and walked thru everything she was doing while personalizing everything for my skin. Then I went in for the mineral bath complete with drinking water and cookies. Yum! Once all calm and relaxed I got a 60 min Swedish massage and the masseuse was very kind making sure the pressure was perfect. Finished everything up with the ginger scrub and my skin is still soft days later. The staff was very sweet and the spa itself was clean and calming. Oh! Espa is a holistic, calming, innovative, full service spa. Walking in the front door, you know you've found a hidden gem of Northwest Indiana. I have had an amazing mineral bath followed by a soothing organic scrub. The facials are relaxing and rejuvinating. Again, all products used on our bodies are organic. I don't feel as though I need to get in the shower to wash off the heavy oils.. you feel so clean. There are so many services offered that it's as if there's a special service just for you... and they do use oils that meet your body needs. I don't go anywhere else. Check out the menu! I planned a last minute day at the spa for my birthday. I stumbled upon ESPA on Groupon and I gave them a call. In less than 24 hours the facility was able schedule a couples massage and one facial. The spa was clean, modern, inviting, and professional. The staff were knowledgable and very attentive. They have a variety of scents to choose from and focus on areas that are important to you. Yesterday was my first experience at this spa. I have nothing but good things to say, Eugene is a fantastic therapist!! I also had the rose herbal bath which left my skin feeling so soft and smooth. The atmosphere is soothing, relaxing and the service is great. I have already scheduled a return visit for next month!! This spa is absolutely amazing!! The ambiance is off The chain! The service is wonderful. You get celebrity treatment here. I got the bath,full body 60 min massage and body scrub. I love this place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and makes me feel better just by walking in. I have had a couple of hot stone massages with body scrubs and I walk out feeling like a new woman every time. Definitely plan on making this a monthly treat for myself. I was there yesterday and Eugene was amazing. I am 73 and my right knee had been not feeling right. Pain when I first stood up. It has been this way over 2 months. When I went to bed it would throb when I laid down. Since my appointment, my knee is fine. No more pain. It would have cost more to go to the doctor and I'm sure it would still be hurting. My first official massage. Got a deal on groupon for me and my mom. I walked in the place, the music and smell is soothing. I ended up getting Hot stone massage with Eugene. The man was amazing!! He was so attentive to what I like and the amount of pressure. I will only see him from now on. The place is rather small, but I felt relaxed throughout the whole visit. I have been going to ESPA since December 2015, the staff, Virginia and the therapist Eugene is the BEST! I have recently started going bi-monthly. I get a hot stone massage and a scrub. Went here for a 90-minute couples massage in February with my wife, and it was amazing!!!! Very friendly & professional staff. The spa is very clean and gives a very tranquil vibe when you walk in. This was my third time here and as always was very pleased with service, atmosphere, and most importantly with the 90 minute Therapeutic Massage I received. I hadn't been in a while and was dealing with a lot stress. After about 15 minutes I was able to thoroughly relax and get full benefits of my massage. I bought a Groupon for an aromatherapy facial and had my appointment last night. Verginiya was wonderful. We talked about my skin and she adjusted the facial to fit my needs. Espa is a wonderful spa in Downtown Highland--I've been to spas throughout Chicago and Northwest Indiana and this is my favorite. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the services are great. Had a facial done by Claudia, she was so gentle and professional. She literally put me to sleep. I was way over due for one and will continue to get svcs rendered by her. My skin felt so soft and flowed after a few days. Also, had a deep tissue massage that also felt good. Def recommend this place. read more
