I am not at all happy with Espinoza Bail Bonds. First off I was never given a contract of what I was to have signed. I wasn't told anything at all about what the whole thing consisted of. I did not have a clue, nothing was explained to me. Then to top it off I specifically asked her (bailbonds) if I could still sell my house after putting it up for the bond. She told me yes, but after I signed a piece of paper no contract just said signature here on the paper. Then as I was walking out the door she says" Oh but you can't sell it until he is done going to court. I couldn't believe how she miss lead me completely & cunningly! I left & then realized I should have been given a contract of some sorts. I called her back & requested one. She sid I can review it online, I said I don't do computer things I'm not up with all this technology, and I would like a paper copy mailed to me. I never received one. Now the defendent has gone to court, did his time & has been released, he still owes them 13,000 on his bond. Yet they refuse to take the lien off my property. They keep harassing me for his payment. I had read that once the person is done with court regardless of the out come all bonds will be returned, except for monies owed. They still have to pay. So I feel they railroaded me & I don't think what they are doing is legal! read more

We live in Georgia and my husband was in California working when he got arrested. I never had to obtain a bail bond previously, so being scared I chose this company because it is a veteran owned company. While the employee was on the phone with me in the middle of night I mentioned my husband is a retired veteran and was offered a $100 discount. Which I thought was great! So when it came time to complete the application I mentioned my husband was asleep (because it was 2:00 am and he had to work the next day) I was told to just have my husband call the next day and give them some info and he'd have to provide his military ID. So the next day my husband called and spoke to a lady who said sure, just email a military picture ID to qualify for the discount. So that's what he did. Weeks later we had not received the discount back on our credit card so I called to ask about it. I was told we do not qualify for the discount because my husband didn't complete the application, I did. When I explained to this 3rd employee what we had both been told by two other employees, she was apologetic, however, would not honor the agreement. Then when I asked to speak to the owner she accused me of being rude, which I wasn't, I was frustrated and disappointed...it seemed we were being duped. She then told me my husband would have to call and complete another application to get the credit. (It's a looonnng process). So on the following Saturday my husband made several attempts to call but never got an answer. We just gave up. Hopefully this was my first and last time I ever need a bail bonds. So beware, just because they say it doesn't mean they honor it. read more
