The people at this location (Lake Washington) are not very friendly at all!!! Offer no help unless you beg and there just to be seen. Christine and Trey specifically seem to enjoy talking about and making fun of & mocking out people for being there. Their remarks are highly unprofessional and I will never go to a gym that employs people that make fun of people and talk about them to other members. Additionally, Christine comes in hung over regularly and Trey arrives high and while there, he is busy vaping outside. The trainer(s) are not questionable at best. Save your money...don't bother with LA Fitness. Planet Fitness and Eos are much better options. read more

LA fitness is one of the more pricy gyms I've belonged to. With their $30-$42 price tag (idk why some customers have cheaper memberships than I) at this location you receive access to all of their amenities: full basketball court, plethora of cardio equipment to choose from, sauna, steam room, lap pool, squat racks, free weights, and more! One of my favorite feature at this gym is their personal training equipment. I don't pay for the personal training but I enjoy using some of their equipment in the "personal training" area. Unfortunately, recently staff member have been ripping off the personal training area and disallowing regular members to use the personal training area. I understand members that pay for that service want to use the equipment without others interfering... but perhaps get more equipment in the stretching area so regular members can use certain equipment without interfering with the personal training. If I'm paying $42/month for gym access... I should be allowed to use all the equipment. Just a thought... This gym is pretty clean. Before Covid I was there every day. Most days I saw staff members mopping and cleaning certain areas. The studio could use some more daily cleaning... that room, honestly, it seems like they might only clean that room once or twice a month. I've never personally seen it cleaned or mopped... and there's always hair and debris on the floor when I do yoga. Occasionally, you might come across some equipment that needs to be repaired but in my experience they're pretty good about fixing it with in a few days. One thing I will say, the ladies locker room smells great half the time... other days it's pretty terrible. I would recommend this gym, or at least, this location. I went to a LA back in NJ and I had many problems with broken equipment, personal trainer using drugs/not showing up for sessions, etc. But these problems were at a different location. This facility is a total CIRCUS. This location is run by young managers and staffing with no experience. Not clean in bathrooms and sauna. No cleaning wipes throughout the facility. Such a SHAME some of us - are paying over $40 membership fee just to be prone to infections and diseases. Management and young staff could care less about customer service as they're too busy starring at their phones or hanging out in their greeting area. Recently contacted Corporate and were working together to find a resolution where staff of this facility understands how important is customer - member service. read more

Gym is good, no major complaints (though i do go during the day and have never felt that it's crowded) it's looks well-kept and seems to be a positive diverse, environment w/ many options for working out. I tried to use the pool once and the water was terribly cold so i won't be using it again unfortunately. When i asked what the temp was at the front desk, i was told it was 81. That is very uncomfortable and cold. Use vending machines at your own risk, i lost a dollar in machine and was told i have to take it up w/ the vending machine company, it would have been nice to be offered a bottle of water (since i had none) which i would have been willing to pay for. read more

Just cancelled my membership recently after 2 years of having it. When I first started going there, the club is fairly new, and in really good shape. Machines were clean, free weight area was always organized, and the locker room was always in good shape. As time wore on, the club became increasingly dirty. I made my first rations known to someone at the front desk, and it seemed as though something was going to be done about it. Alas, nothing was done. At this point, I sent an email to their corporate office, which elicited no response. Three weeks later I sent the exact same email asking for a response. They finally got back to me and said that they would address the issues. Nothing was ever done. The club remained dirty. The free weight area was always a mess, and the locker room had a broken sink and broken toilet for over eight months. I'm all for being able to work out the way you want. Main reason we left PF. But dudes toting 5 gallon water jugs around the free weight area, wearing matting tank tops, chugging from a blender bottle, and screaming during sets, is dumb. Countless times there were dudes in the locker room all taking pics of each other, while other members were bitt naked next to them. I'm sure that's kinda frowned upon. For $35 per month, you would expect these things to be taken care of. I just cited to join another gym, and have not been back since March 2017. I found this facility two tears ago by searching for fitness centers that offered Yoga Classes. They had M,W,F,Sunday and fit my schedule. I enrolled, take three classes per week with Nancy and am totally satisfied. I also use one of their always available treadmills for cardio warmup. For the last 6 months I have added a once a week training session with one of their most excellent trainers (Will). He has introduced me to many of the uncountable pieces of equipment for strength training and monitors my usage and pace. I am overjoyed to have (so far) turned stomach fat into muscle, losing 10 lbs in the process. The facility is clean and also open on almost all holidays. Explore for yourself! read more

Very disappointing how much customer service the fitness coordinator lacks. While visiting, overheard a conversation they were having with an instructor. Not only lacks empathy but overall social skills in how to communicate with others. You'd think this is a skill they master in their professional role. What a joke people! Seriously, stay clear! The gyms are great, the billing asses are not. Had a debit card lost or stolen and forgot to update with the new one. My "month to month" contract payment got declined obviously. I made an arrangement to update online within 2-4 days and pay a late fee. Have had 4-5 harassing phone calls since! Not updating anything now. They threatened to charge my card each month! Go ahead. It's a dead card which is what started this. This company definitely does not have their shit together. Personal Training Membership: Do Not Sign! I signed a 12 month contract which expired in May. Apparantly, signing a 12 month contract gives them the right to charge you continually in the fine print...until you physically go in to cancel. They are continuing to charge my credit card after several conversations, even as high as the regional Vice President of Personal Training, Chad. At this point, they have stolen $1440, and if I can't get this resolved I will have another $360 charged very shortly. read more

We are new to the area and decided to give this location a try. So far we have been LOVING it. It's not too crowded with a younger group of people but is an even mixture of diversity, old and young. I'm very nervous about judgemental people and I don't feel that way here. The staff is laid back and friendly and the facilities are moderately clean. Maybe could be a tad cleaner but great for a $10 a month facility. We have the premium one and use the sauna and it's really pleasant. Overall really enjoying it, I will update this review if anything changes or it starts to go downhill read more

My family of 5 has been going to this gym for 2 years. This la fitness/ Esporta has gone down hill recently, don't waste your money here. The roof in the basketball court has had a leak for weeks. This gym is really nice and modern! It's also reasonably priced for a membership. My only complaint is of one of the trainers, he's super full of himself and acts like he's entitled... but otherwise it's pretty good. But the pools are super hot, and it makes swimming really unpleasant, it feels like a sauna... not good. My overall report is that it's really nice! read more

Awful customer service! I am in the area looking for a gym for the week with my girlfriend. I arrive and the girls at the front desk were disgusted that I asked if I could buy a week pass and sent me to a membership consultant *Chris*. He said that we were "the thousandths people to ask", in a manner that I wanted to punch him in the face. He stated that their is only a month pass and day pass and wouldn't work to help us in anyway. Roof leaks, peeling paint on walls, bulging ceiling in the workout area, buckets placed to catch the water, frequently broken sauna that takes weeks to fix and sewage smell in the women's locker room. Those are just a few issues at this location. Add to it, the new morning person didn't show up to work today, leaving over 40 of us waiting outside for the gym to open for at least an hour (that's when I gave up and left). This is the 2nd time I've tried to get a in workout at this gym in the last couple months. I left a coupe months before because of the irritating racket coming over the speakers. It was very irritating and not conducive to concentration. I left because it was driving me crazy. I went in again today and no sooner did I get on a treadmill that I thought I was in traffic and some MORON pulled up next to me with their TRASH-"BOOMBOX" turned up so everyone in the neighborhood could hear! It was coming from an amplifier in the personal-training area, which is an open area next to the machines. I went to the front desk and the guy said something to the effect the "racket" was on during the hours they were doing personal training and would be going on for another 30 minutes. I turned and walked out the door. I DO NOT NEED this crap going on when I'm trying to concentrate on a workout! GOOD BYE Esporta, alias LA Fitness! No wonder there's hardly anyone there these days, but the new fitness facility down the road is always packed! GET A CLUE MANAGEMENT! read more

Sure, there are nicer clubs out there, but I was shocked at what you get here for only $30 a month. Very, very clean club. New equipment, lap pool, excellent (and clean) locker rooms, sauna, and every time I've been there, it hasn't been too crowded, which is rare for a gym. The staff is always friendly, fellow members are courteous and there is always plenty of parking. I really can't think of one bad thing to say about this club. I'm very, very impressed. read more

The gym is pretty good, what makes it the best is the best trainer. I started with Joe the trainer about 8 months ago following a hip surgery, I was still sore, limping and very limited. He built a program that was very gentle on my injury but also pushed me to not only get better but to be able to accomplish more than before I had surgery! I went from 25% body fat to 20% body fat within 2 months!! All while eating a ton more than before! He was also super educational and professional. He was always available for help and advice. I am very sad to say that I am moving away from this gym and Joe, but I would recommend him to absolutely everyone. What I got was way worth than any amount that I paid for his services. read more

My home gym is in Boston but I travel a lot and I'm always on the go so I got a membership that allows me to visit multiple gyms. I came to the Melbourne location and was excited to attend their Zumba class and utilize their facilities, but unfortunately I was completely disappointed. The Zumba class was just ok. But the thing that got me was the customer service it was the WORST! To make a long story short after my workout I wanted a smoothie so I went over to the smoothie bar. On the back of an envelope was written "BRB in 5". Okay no problem I thought to myself as I stood and read over the different flavors deciding which one I should try until I noticed about 10 mins went by. So I went to one of the sales reps to inquire about the person who is supposed to be working the smoothie bar. She seemed uninterested and responded "I don't know maybe she went to the bathroom". So I said "ok" and went to the front desk to where it look like a manager was talking to a worker. I asked the the man and he responded by saying "I don't know where she is" and shrugged and walked off to talk to a worker. So I walked back over to the smoothie bar and decided to wait a few more minutes (I really wanted a post workout smoothie). I saw the man that appeared to be a manager walking my way and I thought he was going to help but instead he walked right past me like he didn't see me. Annoyed at this point I left and went to smoothie king that is located in the same plaza (which was excellent by the way). I visited for the first time as I was in from out of town. I was really impressed with the place. I belong to two gyms back home and found that this place lacked nothing. They seem to have more than one Of everything and while it was a little crowded at that time of day I still found plenty of space to get my workout done. The locker rooms were fancy compared to what I am used to and the showers and bathrooms were clean. I found that the staff there was very friendly and welcoming. I have to say that Karly Was a gem, she got me in and registered quickly and really made me feel at home. I Was gonna give four stars but the 5th is for the customer service. I will definitely go back and if I make my Stay more permanent I will definitely join. read more
