This one's tough to write because the staff here are genuinely amazing--friendly, warm, and always welcoming. They're the kind of people you want to support. That said, I have to be honest about the coffee. The roast has that almost burnt taste, similar to what you'd get from a certain big-name chain known for over-roasting in the name of "consistency." I've visited several times and used to enjoy the drinks, but that changed when I switched to unflavored lattes. As a coffee shop, the core should be the coffee itself. Once you take away the flavored syrups, you're left with the true quality of the beans and the roast, and unfortunately, that's where things fall short. Now, if flavored drinks are your thing, they do have some fun and creative combos that are definitely worth trying. But for the purists out there who love a solid latte or americano, this might not be your spot. read more

I don't write reviews. and I love this place. But today was a really bad representation of the customer service I usually get here. I always get a red bull seltzer, for myself and my boyfriend almost every day, and leave happy. Today I drove thru and gave the girl working a handful of cash and my card. I wanted to pay all the cash and the remaining on my card. I told her, "Some cash rest on card please." She told me my total total and I nodded. She checked me out and I drove away. As I was driving I felt a little suspicion and checked my bank statements. She said the original total, if she rang in my cash would she not tell me my NEW total? I was charged the full cost on my card and she kept all the cash as a tip. I usually tip and was planning on tipping on the card but I honestly will not be ordering if the same girl is working. I also just found out this happened to my boyfriend a few days ago and with the same employee. Except this time he was smart enough to catch it before he left. I would assume she would be aware it's a lot of money for me to tip on a couple drinks and probably isn't a tip or would at least verify with me but I guess do what you gotta do for a tip, if your customer is stupid like me. It's a cute little shop and I ADORE the girl with the colorful hair, she is awesome. But I am really upset. Pay attention people. read more

When i come to Mason county this is one of two coffee stands i love to come to! You know coffee is good when you can drink a Dippio and not have it taste awful (espresso with whipped cream).. I have a new found addiction to blended coffee drinks... This is is probably one of the best ones I have had. It was SO smooth it was almost milkshake like with the perfect balance of coffee. Not too sweet either. Barista was very pleasant even putting a drizzle of caramel on it for me after I had already been billed. However the lid was not put on properly and it dripped down the front of my white shirt. But since caffeine is a drug... I'll still go back. read more

The one and only double 12 OZ. mocha I got while passing through was amazing. Well, crafted, perfectly pulled shots and smooth espresso flavor. The barista was charming and friendly...I gather that is her normal state, not an act for customers. This is a cute espresso stand right along the highway. Super underrated! Being that there are only two coffee shops in Allyn, I'll go so far as to say 143 is the best! Maybe even including Belfair's coffee stops. The lattes are perfect, served piping hot, not with a cup half-full of foam, just flawless. The red bull spritzers are just slightly less expensive then the premium costs down the road. Above all else, the baristas are FAST! I can't ever blame them for making me late to work. Love this place, their coffee and vibes! read more
