Despite that, I felt I was not being actively listened to and had to repeatedly restate the same information. What concerned me most was reviewing my medical record afterward and finding that Cassandra Vincent documented that I was a "poor historian" and "intermittently agitated/defensive." In my opinion, those statements were inaccurate and did not reflect what actually occurred during the visit. My explanation remained consistent from beginning to end, and any frustration I expressed resulted from having to repeatedly explain the purpose of my visit because I wasn't being heard. After the visit, I raised my concerns with the office manager, who listened professionally, addressed my concerns respectfully, and ensured I received the documentation I needed. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to help. However, discovering those characterizations in my medical record after raising my concerns left me with serious concerns about whether my interaction was documented fairly and objectively. Medical records should be factual, unbiased, and free from language that can unfairly characterize a patient. I formally requested that my concerns be reviewed because patients deserve accurate documentation, respectful communication, and professional care.

To make matters worse, I noticed that people with fair skin mysteriously had shorter wait times than people with darker skin. A few days ago, I went here for a follow up treatment (a small filling). I'm not sure if it was because I complained or if it was merely a coincidence, but I only waited 15 minutes (as opposed to an hour and 45 minutes the first time I came here). My dentist and I were the same age (32). In fact, most, if not all of the dentists at this clinic are just out of dental school. Younger dentists generally lack the acumen of more seasoned dentists. Fortunately, my dentist was an exception to the rule. He did an excellent job. In addition, I enjoyed being able to relate to him. I still prefer a private dentist over a clinic, but beggars can't be choosers. I recommend this clinic if you're short on cash and need a decent cleaning.

I realized most doctors were probably 'D" student and slipped through then they send them to the Black neighbors to keep us sicker or kill us. Well I have a story to tell you and to make some statements. I live in NYCHA were they are killing us one by one due to the Mold and the Asbestos. So I go to the doctor asked for a head scan because I am blacking out, can not get up, nauseated, throwing up, migraines, and dizzy, watery eyes, yes I had it all. So I asked this supposed Doctor Grace Waverka for a head scan. Her excuse was I have to talk to my team, that was weeks ago, then I had to say a few words as well as report her than I received my referral to get my head X-rayed; low and behold yes they found evidence. I have so much pressure on my brain, the migraines but the mere fact that she did not want to give me this referral made me sicker. It took her 7 weeks I could have died she did not care and I told her this is why we do not trust you all so call Oath takers to provide services but you come in our communities because you can not work in yours. Just to get your commission on medication prescriptions. No good imposter in a white gown. I was too upset and told her so. HOW DARE YOU! Is why you have to do your own self care and follow up or five opinions. DANG SHAME in our communities doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but getting paid to write scripts literally. People advocate for yourselves make NYCHA, Doctors etc, accountable but trust me they are not getting away with anything. saith Yahweh. WHEW Dr. Sanon you are missed..How does she sleep at night. And could not tell me WHY so what did you go to school for got over, not on me..

That request felt completely antithetical to professionalism and basic respect. I came in, paid my $40 co-pay, and just wanted treatment for my swollen ring finger. These are prescription lenses, not a fashion accessory. When I declined to remove them, he refused to treat me and told me to go to the ER instead. I even asked to have my finger numbed before the procedure, and he brushed it off. The nurse was kind and helpful, but the doctor's behavior overshadowed everything. As a 40-year-old Afro-Latina in this neighborhood, I strongly doubt a 40-year-old white woman would have been spoken to or treated this way, let alone have her care withheld over prescription glasses. CityMD still has not refunded my co-pay, despite the fact that I received no medical services. The doctor's superior attitude and dismissive conduct were insulting and unnecessary. "Now you officially have the Supreme touch."

There is money to be made off of a community such as ours. Long wait times at this facility. The OBGNY (the black doctor) doctor is no longer there that was my the first sign.
