Dr. K.J.is an amazing chiropractor. Unlike most chiropractors, he actually does deep muscle work prior to adjusting you. This is the most effective chiropractic approach I've ever experienced - the adjustments hold much longer than others. I first went to see Dr. K.J. after hours at an airport, followed by hours on a plane, hours on the train, and then a night on an air mattress. When I got to his office, I was pretty miserable. When I left his office, I felt better than I had in years. This was my best summer in Westhampton Beach, thanks to Dr. K.J. I only wish I could find someone half as competent at home in California. I look forward to returning to WHB in September so I can experience his care, again. read more

Dr.Kj is awesome! I literally couldn't walk, hunched over taking baby steps.. after a couple of sessions I was back to normal, and feeling better after each visit. Dr. Kj is great at what he does and he's very nice and easy to talk to! I always love the end of our session when he gives you a "knock-em-alive"! :) The office is very calming and clean as well. Dr. KJ has been my Chiropractor for about 8 or 9 years. Essential Chiropractic is the perfect word for his practice because he is ESSENTIAL to my well being. After an adjustment and just being in this comfortable environment, I am rejuvenated. He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and caring. Great chiropractor with a welcoming demeanor. He takes his time to understand and treat your pain in the office but also provides you with at-home suggestions and exercises. The office is proactive and flexible with appointments which is a big plus. Location/parking accessible. Highly recommend. read more

Dr. KJ is the most amazing doctor and healer. I have been using chiropractic adjustments for 12 years and met a lot of different doctors while living in the city. Some did amazing adjustments, some employed amazing masseuses. Noone I knew until recently was a great doctor, an amazing masseuse, and an amazing adjustor in one body. Dr. KJ spends an unheard amount of time on a single patient, usually, an adjustment is at best 15 minutes. Before adjusting you Dr. KJ works on your muscles for good 20-30 minutes. He is extremely knowledgeable and recommends physical therapy you can do at home for your area of concern. He is fearless and driven by a passion to help people get better. In the time of COVID, when most doctors either closed or transitioned to remote service, he worked fully booked working days. He is certainly my chiropractor for life and I couldn't recommend him more. We are so fortunate to have a doctor of his caliber in our part of the world. I have nothing but words of gratitude to him and his family who help him run this amazing office. read more

Dr. KJ is wonderful!!! He adjusts our entire family on a regular basis. He is great with kids and really knows how to knock out the kinks. The atmosphere is very calming and inviting. Any questions you have Dr. KJ can usually answer it on the spot as he is very knowledgeable. We love going there because its the one Dr. the kids are never scared of. They actually ask "when are we going to Dr. KJ's?" Because when we leave there we all feel good!!! read more

Dr. KJ is a wonderful chiropractor. He is kind and knowledgeable. As a sufferer of chronic pain, KJ was able to adjust me and make me feel better than I had in a long time. I only wish I were local so that I could become a regular to this fine establishment. Essential chiropractic offers a soothing atmosphere which was especially nice as I am a bit nervous by nature. I have been going to Dr. Kj since 11/19/12. I got hit by a car on my bike and was in a lot of pain. I am still in pain but it has decreased since I've been seeing him. He's a caring and professional human being that makes you feel at ease and safe under his care. I hope in the near future I can give an update and say I'm pain free because of the "good doctor". :) read more

They told me it would take 24 to 48 hours to know if I was approved. After 3 days of not hearing back, I called them and they brushed me off saying they had not heard back. I tried again in five days with the same result. After more than a week there was no word, so I called them a third time. Their response, "Oh, you were not approved." So I asked why didn't you call me? "Oh, we just heard." What a bunch of BS. I told these people that I had recently moved to the area and they were recommended by someone. I also told them that I was in pain and needed to see someone. They did not care in the least! They never offered that I could pay cash for my first visit while they run my insurance. They just hung up. I have never been treated this way by a medical office. Luckily, I found another provider and my insurance was approved within the hour.

But the blood clot medication was not working. I had to be in the hospital on the IV for 3 days. I couldn't move, drive, walk, I was in a wheel chair. Then they said my chemo stopped working. Then I started to wear all of the Photo Therapy patches you recommended. I did those every day faithfully. I lived with my sister, because she was taking care of me. Now I take care of myself, I can walk, run, I can drive. I am able to do work around the house. And fully take care of myself. So I moved out of my sisters house. And a lot of my protocols that I was doing before, went by the wayside. I wasn't doing all the things I was doing in my therapy. And I started to feel something was off. So I remembered what I was doing before. And one thing was the patches. I started to wear them again, and have been wearing them for 2.5 weeks again. I have a lot more energy now. I was wearing patches for 3-4 month, in 2022. After that, in Nov 2022, they did X rays, and the doctor said that my lungs look better than 2021. I have a girlfriend who is doing chemo and she said, I wish I did what you did, take my health into my own hands. And do all these alternative protocols. I did chemo 4 times before and it didn't work. And it made me extremely exhausted. My Chiropractor told me, you look like walking death. He thought I was going to die that year. And now I can run. I breathe better. I have more energy. I can drive, which is huge. I take care of myself. And my Chiropractor said I want to know everything you are doing. What I would say to a person who is curious but scared, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The patches regenerate your stem cells. I haven't seen any products that can do that. That's what intrigued me because you need new stem cells all the time when you have cancer.

We have both become increasingly uncomfortable with the front office's communication style and overall handling of concerns. At one point, I explicitly communicated that the cadence and manner in which I was being spoken to was increasing my dental anxiety and making it progressively harder for me to attend appointments. Rather than understanding or professionalism, I was met with dismissal and rudeness from the office manager. More recently, my father had his own horrible experience involving billing and insurance coding issues. During that situation, he was also spoken to disrespectfully by the office manager, who withheld insurance-related information after a negative Facebook review was posted. There is considerably more to this situation, including audio recordings and additional context, but because the matter is still active, I am choosing to exercise restraint in what I publicly disclose at this time. I do want to be fair and acknowledge that the dentists and hygienists at the practice have consistently been excellent. The practice itself also clearly makes an effort to create a calming, comfortable environment for patients through warm pillows, eye masks, and relaxing music, which I appreciated as someone with dental anxiety. Under most circumstances, this would outweigh a problematic office manager, but in this case, the level of disrespect and, quite frankly, unwillingness to do her job makes the practice impossible to continue with comfort.

I was introduced to Dr Kj several years ago. I was suffering from lower back pain and Dr. Kj was a life saver. During my first visit he explained exactly step by step what he was doing to help me and what exercises I can do at home. I see Dr. Kj often and I always feel so much better after my visit.
