All these they were ultra professional reviews are just padding and completely unrealistic. Look at the people who gave them one and 2 star reviews and you'll see those are real people My 2nd service call. The 1st time I called they want $450 to make sure they get paid for showing up. The guy told me that it was a one-time thing and once I was registered with them they would drop the $450 part and it would be $165 for the simple diagnostic and then hourly parts and labor from there. That was all very well and good in the 1st call cost a little over $500 and only gave me was a replacement of my boiler suggestion. I just called them back 3 months later to work on the same boiler and they want to same 500 bucks before they do anything beyond guesstimate the problem. They know who we are, that we own our building so this $500 because we're not sure we can trust you that they collect before they do any work is just nonsense. Find somebody else who sticks to their agreements. I hired a plumber from Chinatown who just did a great job and applied the show up money to the total $700 bill for replacing my aqua stat and my low-water sensor and cleaning the boiler they were here for 3 hours. . Hub Plumbing are the kind of people always trying to make a home run from every call they make, instead of developing loyal customers. To slick for their own good and certainly for mine. Don't use them

I yelled, "do you see the red light?" and kept walking. A white man inside the car yelled after me, "are you a cop?" I responded, "no, but I can get your license plate number" (97185JZ, if my memory ten minutes later is correct). He then began yelling homophobic slurs at me: "f*ggot," "come take it up the ass," "why don't you suck my dick?" as I continued to walk up 3rd Avenue. I want to also note that there was a black man in the car (maybe another employee) who was not involved and tried to de-escalate the situation by telling the guy to calm down at one point and waving at me to keep going. This took place over about a minute at around 11am on 2/7/19.

Amazon sells the same item for 50$ less with free shipping, but the item was not covered under the company warranty. So for the replacement order, I called Ferguson directly. Ordering over the phone was very easy. In the future I plan to only place orders via phone. Never had an issue with phone orders & they are consistently very knowledgeable & helpful. Bottom line - order via phone not over the internet. Attempting to cancel or replace an item online is not user friendly. Also, when purchasing major appliances or plumbing fixtures, plan to purchase from authorized vendors to ensure the item remains under warranty.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

The floors had stains from who knows what and who knows when, some water damage, and just seemed way too big for us to handle on our own. It only took them two days to sand and stain, and they matched our other hardwoods perfectly! We were so happy with the work they did! There was absolutely no dust from the sanding, and the smell from the stain was minimal and only lasted a day or so. Pricing was right in our range, we got a great deal! Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone interested in refinishing their floors!
