Wow, I was completely impressed with Kaysi Beauty and may never go to Sally's Beauty Supply again,…read moreunless I have to. This store is VAST! And they had an amazing selection of everything I was looking for [mostly]. I needed a bonnet, and there were almost too many to choose between, but I finally picked on. It was $3.99, about half the price I paid for a bonnet at Sally's. I also purchased a small pack of rubberbands, and a specific kind of Eco Gel. Since the store is so big, I did ask for help finding things, and the sales associate there was very helpful in directing me, and later in answering my inane questions and providing advice. Everything I bought was less than $10, so that was exciting. Will definitely return!

I like it for the selection. Great selection, great brands…read more What I do not like are the prices. This is the third time that I have been when the prices that are on the display or the product are not what is on the receipt after paying. It is interesting that you can't see the prices as the items are being rung up, very important. First time I was too far gone to turn back around. Second time it was about $5 dollars difference between three items. The manager made the refund and apologized. This last time when I mentioned the $1 difference after having paid, the manager (I guess) comes back after looking at the price to say "just so you know next time it is this price." If this had been a one off maybe but no, this is not. When I mentioned that she mentioned they were between two systems, same thing I was told last time. I glutton for punishment. The place is convenient and has most of what I am looking for. This time it was marked 8.99 and the receipt said 9.99. The cashier gave me a store credit... nope that is not my error. Manager corrected it, apologized and said... they don't control the tariffs. So basically you will be charged and won't know what you paid after you get your receipt and no refunds!

I went to Hannah, who at first was okay but at my second to last appointment did an awful job. Before my hair mistake color wise, somehow she turned my hair green. That was fixed at the time but I ended up with what looked like a giant skunk stripe in my hair when it went up. I went through the process of calling and asking for it to be fixed, which is already super awkward but I paid for a service with a certain expectation, and they also naturally have you go back to the person who made the mistake which is again, awkward. She wasn't able to, or willing to, fix my hair, just made it a little less drastic and advised me to wear my hair in a totally new and different style than my norm because it would hide her error. She also then refused to dry it unless I wanted to pay for a separate blow out, so it wasn't as obvious to me how little she fixed since I left with damp hair. To lessen my confidence in her abilities, she also got a call from a client, which she took in front of me, where the client complained that she had missed a good amount of spots whilst dying her hair a few days prior. Not a good look overall. My new colorist was very polite in explaining how she'd have to fix my botched color but I'm still a bit salty about what I paid for what I got here.

We had an appointment scheduled with this company, but they could not tell us the entire cost of the procedure. They would only say "it depends on how much your insurance covers, etc." Well obviously, but you should know THE COST YOU ARE GOING TO BILL INSURANCE, and then I can figure it out from there. But no, they couldn't tell us that cost. Instead, they gave me the phone number of a third-party biller. Whatever that is. That number didn't work. I googled the number and found a different number for the business. That number was just some guy named Dave who answers a phone. Dave gave me YET ANOTHER number of some district guy in MD who finally had the price. This is absurd. You perform the procedures, you need to know the cost of them. I cancelled our appointment and I will not do business with this office.

Poor Results & Dismissive Care - Not for Sensitive Skin…read more I visited Dr. Sarah Mess's office two weeks ago for Botox and had a deeply disappointing experience. Not long after the treatment, my eyes became puffy and began to droop, and I developed a rash--none of which I've experienced before in my many years of getting Botox. The puffiness and rash came from skincare products she applied and tried to sell me, despite me clearly stating that I have very sensitive skin. Instead of testing a small patch, she applied the products all over my face. When I contacted her about the reaction, she told me to take Zyrtec for the puffy, drooping eyes--saying, "It can't hurt"--even though I don't have allergies. For the rash, she offered no professional solution, just told me to use over-the-counter products on my own. When I raised concerns about the results and how I looked, she brushed it off, saying it would wear off in a few months and that I was "still pretty." Meanwhile, half my forehead still has visible wrinkles. There was no real follow-up, no accountability, and no real care. I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported. If you value thoughtful, personalized treatment--especially if you have sensitive skin--this is not the place for you. Save your time and your money.
