However, when I arrived, the practitioner performing the injections seemed very unprofessional. First, despite being a new client, I had clearly stated my treatment history; yet, when discussing the plan, she recommended Dysport instead of the Botox I had originally booked. She asked if I was comfortable with a total cost exceeding $700--which was fine by me. I also wanted a touch-up on my cheeks (where I had received Juvéderm injections a year prior). After treating my forehead, she declared the session over. When I asked about my cheeks, she asked in surprise, "You want to do your cheeks too?" I was shocked, as I had mentioned needing treatment for both my forehead and cheeks from the start. I kept asking for her recommendations, expecting a professional to proactively suggest a plan and advise me on what was needed. Instead, she claimed I had only booked a 15-minute session for forehead wrinkles and suggested I come back the next day. When I said I couldn't return the following day, she reluctantly agreed to inject Restylane into my cheeks. Throughout the process, she repeatedly questioned my ability to pay--asking things like "Is this price okay?" and "Do you know how much this costs?"--rather than offering professional advice on the areas of my face that needed attention. This made me feel very uncomfortable. She rushed through the procedure, and after I paid over $1,300 and left, no follow-up appointment was scheduled. I suspect this happened because my attire made me look "low-class," leading her to worry that I couldn't afford the treatment. She offered no advice or assessment based on my face's actual needs; she simply performed my requests mechanically without ever mentioning follow-up care. There was absolutely no effect after getting the treatment on my forehead. In the past, when I got Botox, the forehead lines would disappear the very same day.

Overall, Maxine gave an amazing, relaxing massage; she was polite & professional. The towels, blankets & sheets were all clean and smelled fresh. This "day spa" is a little too cramped for me to ever consider getting a manicure or pedicure here, honestly. And I'm sure their other services are overpriced, just as the massages are. Leanne has been my go-to girl for the majority of the time. She defines what a healer is. She is loaded with love and compassion and truly wants her patients to feel better by the time they leave. The masseuse was not friendly and made some weird, borderline rude comments during the session. The front desk has the personality of an amoeba. And all the therapists walk around looking like they hate life. Honestly this is the saddest, most miserable massage parlor I've ever seen. I definitely won't be going back.
