I had a miserable experience here. I've never had dental anxiety and enjoyed my dental visits until I came here. Now I shiver at the thought of my check ups. No one cared when something did not go to plan. No one tried to help and I had to advocate for myself multiple times to be brushed off and finally listened to once they got annoyed enough of hearing from me. This is a warning for current and future patients of dentist Esther Min (not a review of the rest of the office). If you have a feeling that something is off or you're not being heard, get a second opinion. I was a patient of E. Min from 6/2016-5/2023. During this period, I spent over $15,000 with the majority of it paid towards an implant and 2 crowns. Since I moved to NV and gotten a new dentist a year ago, they have discovered issues with every single one of those teeth. Esther Min. Not only were the work that she performed of poor quality but she ignored my concerns despite billing for an exam at every semi-annual cleaning appointment. Over the past year, I've required several appointments with a general dentist, an endodontist and an oral surgeon to try to fix all three of those teeth and it is still not over. Outlined below are the complications and issues. My #3 tooth cracked in 6/2016. E. Min said it was not salvageable and recommended removal and implant placement. I trusted her and followed her recommendation. She placed an implant with 2 posts (see image). It was incredibly difficult to clean between the posts of this implant and I developed bad breath after placement. I expressed this concern throughout the 6-7 years since placement and had been diligently getting semi-annual cleanings and exams. There had been annual x-rays done (if not more frequently). She charged an exam fee every visit, but thinking back, she never spent more than 1-2 minutes examining my teeth even with my complaints regarding the implant (bad odor, bleeding around it, inability to clean between the 2 screws, etc.). Since I moved, I learned this type of implant was popular in the 1990s but was abandoned due to bone loss they cause. There has been significant bone loss around my implant. The pocket around it was up to 11mm deep. None of my dentist/orthodontist/oral surgeon have actually seen this implant in recent years. I had to have it remove, get a bone graft and hopefully eventually get a new implant. Not only did she place an implant that was outdated, but she either never noticed or simply never informed me of the bone loss throughout the 6-7 years I was her care. Not only that, the 2 crowns she placed (#14 in 7/2017 and #15 in 12/2021) have failed. I had to get a root canal on tooth #15 just 2 years after she placed the crown. There was chronic infection around that tooth apparent by bone loss around it. This may or may not have been there at the time it was placed but she never caught the infection. I was just told tooth #14 also likely need a root canal. None of my other teeth have any problems. If I had not moved and gotten a new dentist, who immediately noticed the bone loss around these teeth, thoroughly reviewed them, recognized it was outside his area of expertise and immediately referred me to the appropriate experts, I would have been ignorant of these issues. I trusted her and spent thousands of dollars at her office but she failed me at multiple stages. Not only was the implant done using outdated techniques, she was negligent at follow up visits. While working with my current dental specialists to fix these teeth, it was also incredibly difficult to obtain dental records Min DDS and took months, multiple emails and phone calls from myself and my dentists. I already had to spend thousands and will have to spend thousands more to fix the problems that were either caused by or neglected by her. Be careful. read more

Please please, don't go here. My husband and I saw Dr. Min for over 2 years for ALF treatment. Spent over $14,000 and not much of an improvement. She over promised like crazy especially in the beginning when we were still making payments and was nice and would stay and talk about our concerns. As soon as the payments were done, she was short and not nice and made me do traditional braces on my top teeth when in the beginning she said I didn't have to do that. After a couple of months, I asked her to take them off because they were so annoying and kept tugging on my skin inside my mouth. I've had two natural births, and the pain I have experienced when her assistant was taking the braces off hurt sooooo freaking bad and I was literally crying and asking her to stop. She went and talked to Dr. Min to give me numbing and I can literally hear the whole conversation and she was like no just take them off. And wouldn't even come in to talk to me and see how I'm doing. I was so pissed off and just dealt with the pain for a week after. Please find another doctor who actually cares and knows more because I'm so disappointed how much time we've spent coming in every 6 weeks to get it adjusted and after 2 years of torture got them taken off. I have nothing in my mouth they never followed through or checked in how my mouth and progress is and no after pictures taken like they did in the beginning. read more

Dr Min is a highly skilled and knowledgeable dentist. However she doesn't offer any type of discount or payment plan for people who are disabled or on a fixed income. She also isn't willing to speak with someone for any length of time if they are upfront about any financial constraints. I have overheard her treating affluent patients in neighboring cubicles like royalty, spending all of the time with them that they need. It doesn't matter if you have a serious dental infection. Fork over full price and pay in full or you will be denied care. Doctors are bound by law to treat patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Apparently dentists aren't bound by the same laws, and can refuse to provide care to patients in need. Humanity, ethics, and morality are an afterthought. All that matters to them is the bottom line. read more

Dr. Cere, Dr. Butler, front desk staff, and dental assistants deserve 5 stars. Dr. Min deserves 1. Dr. Min lacks patient education tremendously. She performs her exams and treats her patients as if she is too busy to review the findings and provide education. I will never pay out of pocket to see her again and will go elsewhere. If you want a doctor who acts rushed and acts as those she only cares about money rather than helping her patients, she's the one for you. I was hoping this would work out as we badly need a holistic dentist in the area, looks like I'll be traveling for my holistic needs. read more

BEWARE shady billing practices. I loved the office and the dental work done, and loved the atmosphere. When Dr. Min dropped my insurance network, I was sad to see her go. Then nearly five years later, I was sent a collections notice for $500 worth of broken appointment fees for appointments I NEVER made. Completely shady!! The dentist is great, but don't go here unless you're willing to risk your credit score. read more

Wonderful service. I had a crown replaced from a former dentist. I didn't have to wait for weeks or days. It was made right there in the office the same day as I had my old one removed. There was a gap that caught food by my old crown. The new crown closed that gap and now I have no food trap there when I eat. Everyone there is nice and friendly. read more

I've only seen Dr. Butler here, but I would expect visits with Dr. Min to be the same. Expedient, friendly, professional and comfortable is how I would describe my experiences here. I've always been more than satisfied with my care. The facilities are modern and clean; they offer massage chairs, soft throws and paraffin hand waxes for your enjoyment. They truly make your visit as relaxing as possible. read more

The most spa-like dentistry EVER! So attentive, so kind, helpful, patient, thorough, with all the latest in dental technology (just to name one: 3-D printers so you don't wait 2 weeks between appointments for your crown, it all gets done right there same day)! Dr. Min met with me 1st in a a smaller office in this gorgeously appointed dental clinic, to chat with me as it was my 1st time there, about my dental history. She was a GREAT listener, & gave me lots of good information, discussed options & services. They are specifically excellent in helping with those of us who may have some anxiety around a visit to the dentist: iPods with headphones & choice of music, paraffin lavender wax dip for my hands, so many choices of flavors for my cleaning, beautiful art, lots of natural light, & bright & clean rooms spaces, coffee & tea... Every single staff member with whom I interacted was flawlessly considerate, helpful, kind, patient - I never once felt rushed or that I was inconvenient or that I was just another number (as can happen other places)... *happy sigh* read more

My Facebook post.... Dude, she fucking rocked! I've never have had a cavity or filling in my mouth. Two years ago I had my wisdom teeth pulled by her and she was great. Back then my out of state dental insurance turned out to be invalid so I just paid cash to have my two wisdom teeth taken out, so I passed on the exam and cleaning then. Thursday, one of my molars caved in the side and broke up a bit. So yeah, with better insurance now I experienced my first oral work with a drill and had a crown put in plus a little cavity work in tooth next to it this morning. She and her staff were floored that the rest of my teeth look so good for never been to a dentist in almost 30 years!! Hehe. I think I HAD a fear for the dentist until the shot wasn't felt and I put headphones on listening to reggae dub. I had the gas on and when she started with the drill you have a brief moment of clarity that wow this is really the moment you want to be in good hands. read more

For as long as I could remember, I've been deathly afraid of going to the dentist. I've had several bad (and painful!) experiences. Weeks before any dental appointment, I would start getting anxiety. I thought I would never ever get over my fear...until I met Dr. Min! Dr. Min is an AMAZING dentist. She's incredibly patient-centered and listened to my concerns with care and thoughfulness. In the past, I would tell dentists about my concern and I would feel like they wouldn't really listen to my perspective--thus, increasing my anxiety more! But, I knew Dr. Min would be different after my first appointment with her. She validated my concerns and I knew she would take every precaution to make it a pleasant experience for me. I've been seeing Dr. Min for 3 years now and I never thought I would say this, but I have ZERO anxiety when I see the dentist now. ZERO. I'm shocked because I never knew that would happen. I've never written a review on Yelp before, but I felt compelled to write one for Dr. Min because I know there are others like me that fear going to the dentist too. You won't regret visiting Dr. Min's office. You can tell by the cutting-edge techonolgy and her passion that she truly loves what she does and wants to do what is best for her patients.
