I can tell you without a doubt, that Chris and his team are the best choice. From the very beginning, Chris took my call, set up the appointment, and took the time to speak to me briefly about what I could expect at the interview before I considered hiring them. After I finished interviewing all 5 companies, it was easily evident that Bluebonnet Exteriors was the best choice. Their customer service was stellar form the get-go and has never ceased. They started my project on time and amazingly enough even with some rain that held up our project.... THEY FINISHED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! Each day they arrived on time, and each day when they left, they cleaned up the job site and left all materials stored and organized. I have redone my entire house and have worked with MANY companies and have never seen the integrity and attention to detail that Bluebonnet Exteriors implements. It is also extremely evident that they take pride in their work and do things the right way. No cutting corners here; they want to leave the best impression by doing the best work to a tee. When you work with Bluebonnet Exteriors, you are working directly with Chris; the owner. He is honest and trustworthy. You will see that immediately. And because you are working with the owner, and a small local business, you will see that there are no frivolous charges or padded costs on your estimate. You get a great price because he does the work with his crew. And now.... my house looks so beautiful and i know that i will never have to deal with any siding issues any longer because Chris and the crew at Bluebonnet Exteriors did a STELLAR JOB! BY FAR MY NEW GO-TO FOR EXTERIOR WORK! You will not regret it! I highly recommend them! TEN STARS!

I am updating the review to respond to the business's calculated misrepresentation of the facts and…read morean attempt to minimize severe, documented building code violations. For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th. The 42-page independent inspection report, which we received on June 29, definitively confirms that the widespread, concealed code violations and structural deficiencies cannot be resolved through superficial patching. The report details systemic failures, including improperly installed weather-resistant barriers, missing flashings, overdriven fasteners, damaged boards, unsealed wall penetrations, and an internal PVC plumbing pipe that was punctured by a fastener and actively concealed with black duct tape. The Manufacturer's Involvement: James Hardie is indeed involved, to the extent that the manufacturer offered to provide free replacement materials to JP Exteriors so they could execute a proper rework. JP Exteriors leadership actively refused this offer. We stand entirely by our documented evidence, our 42-page forensic inspection report, and our active fraud dispute with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The video proof of punctured plumbing remain on this review.

It's now 2 o'clock, they haven't shown up, returned my call, or responded to my email. Update: Heard from the company after 4pm. They tried to tell me that my appointment was on Monday. I'll add a screenshot of the appointment they missed to clear up any doubt. Then the rep showed up. Sat in his car for a couple hours, didn't inspect the roof, gave roof estimates higher than comparable competitor and then estimated 10k for the gutters on my 2,700 sq home. We questioned that and he lowered it to 7.2k. We have a gutter estimate for less than half that from another company. The kicker - the rep called and asked me to change this review after his departure. I told him I'd update it, so here we are. Also, when I called Jolene to make an appointment last week, she required that my husband be home. Receiving an estimate on a roof is something I should be able to do as a capable adult. The rep shared some sexist opinions during this visit, so ladies maybe call Roofer Chicks or Two Brothers?

The job is almost complete and we are VERY happy with it so far. 2. Install a buffet cabinet in our dining room and install countertop. 3. Remodel our kitchen. The kitchen remodel will entail replacing granite countertops, lowering part of a countertop, replacing backsplashes, fixing drywall, moving electric and plumbing, installing an electric cooktop, and painting existing cabinets. 4. Fix drywall in half bath and repaint. The garage project is almost complete and the buffet cabinet was installed. All that remains is the kitchen remodel, the buffet countertop and trim, and the bathroom repainting. This company is the best contractor company I've experienced in my 62 years of life. They are communicative throughout the process. The company's namesake, Herbert Hernandez, was our first contact. He worked with us throughout the design/idea process, made sound suggestions and recommendations, provided us with a sensible, affordable estimate, and presented an excellent plan and schedule. The project manager, Mario, is on site regularly to check on progress, to answer questions, and make recommendations/suggestions. The job supervisor, David (Herbert's brother), is fantastic, as are Raymond and the other guys, whose names I can't remember right now. Their work ethic is superb, and they are 100% customer oriented. They're on time, they work hard, do excellent work, clean up their messes, talk to us throughout the work, and far exceed my expectations. I'll update my review and post pictures when the jobs are complete.
