You pick the seafood, they weight it front of you and cost to cook the style you want. I ordered 2 fresh oysters. Lady helping us said it was her favorite kind/imported from France. $5 a pop so ordered 2 only . Ordered sea urchin, baby clams cooked with garlic and parsley. Also ordered the lagosta arrossos caldosos style.. I was told it was like paella but more soup style.. Only thing I was not happy with was that they had to split it and make it into 2 order which ended up costing 80 euro. But I was in a splurging mood so I decided to go for it. Also ordered fried calamari. So for starter bread.. Seems all the bread main in Spain is yummy. Ordered beer and water... First came oysters and sea urchin.. Oyster was definitely good.. Nice plump size and fresh. Sea urchin was different than one I'm used to. Smaller size but more sweet and less irony. Fried calamari was also yummy. Nice tender and the breading was just right. Baby clam also fresh clean and full of flavor. Now the main dish.. It came in a bit bowl and it reminded me of gumbo. I was bit disappointed to see that it basically had double amount of all dente rice. So one lagosta split in half double amount of rice for 80 euros. This could have been made one serving for 40 euro but that was not an option. But over all it was good. First time having lagosta (weird looking lobster). I think I would have preferred prepared it grilled. Now to dessert.. Order tiramisu and xuixo de girona (was told Girona dessert). Tiramisu in a little cup.. Omg.. I have to say this was one of the best tiramisu I've ever eaten.. Soooo melt in your mouth, I'm in heaven dessert. The other one looked like fried egg roll sprinkled with sugar. Inside was cream I'm told. That was also yummy.. Nice crispy outside and inside was warm, sweet, and bread pudding texture.. That was also yummy. Over all it was good experience and food was yummy.. Two of us picked 5 types of seafood, a salad and a fish soup. We tried the sangria as our drinks. Everything is beyond fantastic! We would highly recommend this seafood gem to all our friends. Here are a few tips for the first timers: 1) The workers at the order area don't understand English well. We pointed at the seafood for ordering. 2) Recommended to have the fish soup over mixed salad as an appetizer. The fish soup is made with lots of fish and ginger; and it carries so much flavor. 3) The mussels are a must-have and are so cheap (Under 10 Euros for huge portions). It's recommended to prepare in two ways: white wine and tomato sauce 4) The La Paradeta sauce (I e. A green basil sauce) goes very well with shrimps and razor clams. 5) The fried calamari was so delicious and perfectly paired with drizzles of lemon juice. Yet, it's so expensive (24 Euros for a very small portion). It doesn't feel as worth it as compared to something like lobsters (29 Euros/single lobster). 6) I noticed many people ordered a bottle of wine instead of Sangria. Will need to try next time!
