The facility was decorated ornately Although some might call it cluttered. Either way, it's a funeral home. I couldn't help it when I shuddered. We were doing a memorial elsewhere, So they worked with us on the price. I assume that they do that a lot. But my mom thought it was nice. My brother in law was there for the viewing Since none of us were up to the task. He actually volunteered to do it. It was way more than I would have asked. They were expedient with the cremation. Soon we picked up his ashes. It's hard to believe that he's gone. It's amazing how quickly life flashes. The next day we held a celebration of life At my father's favorite restaurant. They were attentive and respected our requests, clean, brightly lit, spacious. They also were knowledgeable in Buddhist rituals and ceremonies. They were prompt with our inquiry and listed everything out needed in detail. Literally a one stop shop. We were able to select a casket, flowers for casket, set up for the rituals; they also have urns and processes death certificates. The room we used had a breakroom, coffee makers, anything we needed. He came out to talk to my family when we were picking out the service for my father. He was just plain weird. He asked a lot of questions and dragged this out. He got defensive when my sister said something he didn't like. We ordered an urn that was similar to my late brother's and were told it was being sent from another location in the area. He said he would call us the next day so we could see it to make sure we liked it. The call didn't come until days later on the morning of the service, that the urn was not there. We would have had time to go to other funeral homes and purchase one if we had been told earlier. There was plenty of time. We could have ordered one on the internet and gotten it there in time. Greg Meadows offered $100 off like it was a late pizza delivery. They wanted to put an empty urn up there for people to pretend to say goodbye too. I was so mad I had to let my brother-in-law talk to them. A young man named Heath actually understood the situation and made it better. He GAVE us an urn that turned out to be quite nice. In the end everything was okay. Only because of the young man named Heath, who was apologetic and sympathetic. Also Greg Meadow's brother was there on the day of my dad's service and he just stared at us creepily. You've been warned.

My son died unexpectedly Thursday and I spoke with the "funeral director" that evening and told him that he would be ready to be picked up after 12 pm Friday. The funeral home outsourced that and they Deere not able to pick him up. I asked them to call me Monday and let me know he had been picked up so we can plan the service and internment. Over the weekend I reiterated the hope that we would receive information as to when he might be ready so we could move forward. Monday morning I received an email saying he was scheduled to be picked up and they would notify me when they had him. I contacted them at 4 pm and called them at 4:45 and was told "I had you on my list of things to do before I went home." He then looked for the first time and confirmed that my son had indeed arrived at 2 pm. And now he could not give me a date when he would be ready because they needed to pull together documents for my signature before they can schedule anything. He could not even give me a timeframe Having to deal with such incompetence during our time of grief is sickening.
