But I do feel that it's important to share our experience, since it was helpful when we looked into a cremation service. They were recommended by our hospice nurse, and I must say they were phenomenal throughout the entire process. This is a very difficult time, but everyone at Leaf Cremation was very caring, thoughtful and professional. Brookle was our main contact and she stayed in constant contact with us. She answers any questions very quickly and explain the process to us. We went to see our son one last time before the actual cremation took place and we found the place to be peaceful and calming. After seeing him, we walked thru the cemetery next to their location, and it was also a very serene and tranquil walk. Leaf Cremation also has many options for urns, jewelry, keepsakes, etc for your loved one ashes if you wish. If you looking for a cremation service in the ATL metro, we cannot recommend Leaf Cremation enough

Henry is a compassionate, gentle, understanding and phenomenal human being. He has a vast experience in the field. He is able to navigate through many obstacles with ease, while still staying composed. Answered all our questions and brought calm. We had an issue with a casket delivery we had initiated on our own. It wasn't going to arrive in time due to snow and bad weather. Henry found a similar casket and had it delivered in time for mom's funeral. His recommendations were spot on and not overpriced. One of them was a police escort from the church to the burial site. Mom had her final journey procession that was made for a Queen! We also had a wonderful heartfelt experience with Nas. He worked closely with us on a program for our mom and was so patient and understanding. The program is beautiful, elegant, represented mom well. I cannot say enough about how Paradise Mortuary turned our profoundly sad experience of loosing our mother into a positive experience of making sure mom's final journey was a wonderful one. She looked peaceful and beautiful as if she was asleep in an elegant silver casket. Henry and Nas always answered our calls personally and took great care of mom and the family, while making sure everything was executed with perfection from beginning to end. Thank you, Henry! Thank you, Nas! You are both angels of God.

This has been such a heartbreaking time for our family. Losing our mother has been a hard process…read moreas I'm sure it is for everyone, but it unfortunately was not made any easier with this funeral home. We chose this funeral home while actively grieving, and unfortunately have grown to regret our choice. The issues began almost immediately with our second appointment being late and then cancelled entirely. From the beginning, things have not been done when or as stated. After the scheduling issues, we still signed a contract. I can only blame the fog of grief. On day two, my mother was not picked up when Henry stated she would be, and that took days longer than he stated. My sister and I made it very clear that we were out of state, so unfortunately time was a commodity we had in very short supply. We know things take time, but a week later, she still had not been cremated as requested and couldn't be picked up by the time we left the state, so we'll have to travel back down there to receive her, just adding to the complexity of a process that should have been easy and straight forward. Knowing she cannot be laid to rest in accordance with her wishes bothers me greatly. I just want to give her peace and the respect she deserves. Now we've been waiting over a month for a death certificate to allow us to settle things for her. Henry said he would send them with tracking information the day after we followed up with him yet again, and it has been a week with zero contact. I just want to make anyone aware who is making this choice; that if you are looking for a funeral home that seems to honor the process with the respect it deserves, and not just a business deal, this may not be the funeral home for you. I don't mean to drag the reputation of what seems like a one man operation, but I truly expected more organization, clear communication & most of all for my mother to be honored appropriately in this process.

He chose one where the magnolia trees are and they were very small at the time. He passed away in 1997 and his son passed away in 2018. Those trees are huge now and their roots grow on top of the ground. They are uprooting the grave markers and one of them is sinking.Every time I visit the graves I have to rake all the leaves, cones & sticks off. I have talked to Mark twice about this and he let's me know that he manages the gardens and the trees are good. Those trees are pretty, but a nuisance and damaging to the headstones.

Is it weird writing a review for a cemetery? Yeah, there's no denying it…read more I originally never planned on reviewing this place, but this weekend took me by surprise. I try to visit at least once or twice a month with the beau, and there's no denying that this is a popular place. Well, as "popular" as a venue of this type can be, I suppose. Unfortunately, there's always at least one freshly dug memorial plot or newly buried. We are never alone, as there's always several other people visiting their loved ones. So, going back to this weekend... They did a wonderful gesture for all the people who lay to rest here and their friends and families. They offered a night for all to come visit (as per usual). However, Saturday night was different. They lined the inner roads that wind through the cemetery with tea lights inside paper bags and everyone was welcome to take one to give to their loved ones. We all came out to let her know that she's [never] alone. It was a very heartfelt and moving night as friends and families came out and shared this moment with our beloved(s). To the staff at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, I sincerely thank you for offering such a comforting activity. RIP
