There are two tasting rooms: this one and another at the vineyard. This one is climate-controlled; the other is open air with a patio. Roger is a very engaging and can regale you with stories from his past lives as a contractor and Peace Corps. He makes a range of varietals with small case counts, most of which come from his estate vineyards, though some come from other quality growers. We bought the 2011 Tero Red. Between the location, the wine and the friendly staff, it was worth the 20 minute drive from downtown Walla Walla for the Chamber Music Festival "Tasting Wine" event. The team at Rotie did an awesome job of welcoming us, and providing us with samples of the wine they were releasing for the spring. They complimented this with fresh made smash burgers that were really good. It paired quite well with the Northern Red Blend. We also attended the Seafood Boil event that evening at their processing facility, what a great event that was too! What a great setting, what a great staff, and what a great experience.
