We had an extremely difficult time booking an appointment. It took about a month of calling before we finally got someone on the phone. We booked the "Couples Prestige Pedicure" which is advertised as taking 70 minutes. My fiancé's pedicure was 45 minutes and mine was just under an hour. Overall, my pedicure was very minimal--very little callous/dry skin removal. She applied exfoliating scrub, but just quickly and gently pushed it around before washing it off so it was pointless. An hour after my pedicure, I checked my heels and they were still dry/cracked. My fiancé's pedicurist did a better job--she is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. After tax, the total for the two pedicures was $215. They did not allow us to use our gift card to tip, even though we had just the right amount left on it, which seems ridiculous. The store shouldn't require you to supplement with your own cash when you've received a gift! Even if you can afford a $100+ pedicure, I don't know why you would choose to get it done here. Your run-of-the-mill strip mall nail salon will do a much better job with better results for 1/3 of the price.

After being greeted, I changed my shoes for a pair of sandals and changed into a bathrobe. Then, I soaked my feet in lavender scented warm water with rose petals, while sitting on comfy pillowed seats. They checked to make sure the temperature was right. Alas, after a few minutes, my massage therapist greeted me and guided me to a private, candle lit room for my massage. My goodness, the massage was heaven! I've been there twice, and every since, I've become highly opinionated about how my massages should feel like. It's truly hard to find good masseuses, and The Waters hires the best. Upon leaving, I also completed an anonymous survey. They take their customers' feedback very seriously. During my second visit, I noticed they implemented my suggestion. I haven't found a spa as great as this one - truly, you are getting what you pay for. I've been to cheaper spas, and it's not the same experience. Too bad it's so far away from me :(

I had a private room with deep wooden tub to soak in for 25 minutes. They provided a cold face cloth, ice lemon water and hot tea to sip on. The rep knocked on my door to alert me to get ready for the salt cave. I took a quick shower to rinse off (towels provided) and got dressed. I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. I relaxed in the zero gravity chair/recliner, wrapped in the blanket, listened to relaxing music and the sound of water. What a great experience this was. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated Tacita who gave extra attention to my (very shy) daughter's feet, with very patient exfoliation and an extended foot rub. Maha has a very gentle touch, and when she massaged my hands it was the perfect end to a long day. I will admit that I gravitated to the Asian nail salons in the past based on price. I must say that the prices at Tonyc are not that much higher and can be the same if they are running a special. The products used are not harsh and the air does not have the pervasive solvent smell so common in many nail salons. This was my third time to the spa and the first time were good. However, today I had a 2nd massage with Linda who works on Wednesday's who I found to be extremely deceptive, dishonest, manipulative, and harmful to any client/visitor. Although during an initial appointment she was nice just to get a repeat client, today she was verbally abusive and demeaning towards me, calling me fat where other massage woman have enjoyed my company and were inviting and cordial to my body who is muscular as well, where I am a very nice guy and tip extremely well everywhere. She left our scheduled appointment in the middle of it since another client that I overheard her negotiating a price with outside of my room door when I could hear them loudly...how unprofessional and vulgur...no class or good business taste. Furthermore, she said she had to run and as a result I would not have to leave a tip where I left her a tip of $100 the last time I was there, but then another girl came and demanded a tip...they were both loud, abusive, and constantly lying about what had occurred, which is certainly not only very bad customer service but demeaning to an individual. I am a highly respected gentleman where no one has ever spoken to me in this matter. As a result, since I have paid with a credit card and did not authorize a tip that they charged my card, I am disputing that charge without having to sue these two ladies at Kawaii Spa them for anguish and malicious behaviour/business practices.
