They even fixed a loose handle and added a missing screw on my coffee table before I picked it up. 1) The pieces here move QUICKLY, so if you see something you like BUY IT because it may not be there when you come back 2) Unlike some other furniture/antiques places, the price you see is the price you need to pay. Things don't sit here very long, so there's no negotiating involved. Could be a turn-off at first for those that enjoy wheeling and dealing, but honestly everything is priced to sell...so it's either worth it to you or it isn't! 3) They do not post things on their website - new arrivals go on their Facebook page which is updated very frequently (our coffee table was marked sold very shortly after we left the store). I see some things on their Instagram, but for up-to-the minute inventory, Facebook is your best bet. 4) It's a mix of old and new stuff. Just need to make sure you know which you're buying (everything is clearly marked) if that's important to you.

Prices are reasonable and delivery service is offered in the Simpsonville area for an extra, reasonable, charge. But you need to check back almost daily. We went on one weekend and it was astounding how many items that we had seen on the floor earlier in the week had sold in that one Saturday. Check back regularly and also, if you do like it, buy it. If you wait on it here, it will be gone and it is a one time shot for unique items, there is no back stockroom full of the same item.

This store would be a good place to find a hidden gem or to sell something that is nice but no longer fits your space or style. Furniture Marketplace isn't a showroom stopper like Havertys or the bigger furniture stores, but that's where the savings come in. You're not paying for glitz and glam. You're simply investing in your furniture and that's all I care about. There is a huge selection of choices and whatever is not on the showroom floor can be ordered through catalogs. In 2010, we purchased an Ashley Furniture sectional that is still sold in Ashley today. The couch has held up beautifully and will be used in our Media room. We saved $800 purchasing the Ashley living room set from Furniture Marketplace instead of directly from Ashley. Delivery has always been super fast, especially in comparison to Haverty's, Rooms to Go, and Ashley who have always given us a 4-6week delivery time. The delivery fee is super reasonable, and sometimes he offers specials on delivery fees. We love that Furniture Marketplace offers payment plans because we have to be cautious with financing anything before closing. We will continue to support this business.

While talking to Paul and the owner, I explained our situation... we had just moved here from Matlacha, FL where we had lost everything to Hurricane Ian and basically, starting over. They immediately started helping find other pieces we could use... they have a bargain center. We ended up with about 15 pieces saving thousands over some of the other stores. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. No pressure sales just right down nice to us. They even scheduled for a quick delivery so we could get our new life started.
