As a first time home owner I knew little about who to call and more importantly who to trust for a problem I had zero experience with. Ethicus constructions was the answer to a call NONE could answer. I was very fortunate to work with Frank; one of the Ethicus Elite, a master of his trade, and a true gentlemen beyond reproach. Before he stepped foot into my home, he strapped plastic bags on his feet and immediately separated himself from the previous contractors I had surveyed. I thought then, anyone who would genuinely treat your home as their own deserves a chance for your business. I would later find out Ethicus Construction would be the whole package for my post Harvey needs. Roof Deck / Drywall / Painting / all child's play for these pros. Mr.JC was a pleasure to work with, and shot straight from the start. It was difficult to find a single shop that could handle everything, especially in a desperate and vulnerable time when scam artists were turning pro. I can't put my finger on it, but I knew with JC I was in good hands. The reviews I had previously read about him and his team were not exaggerated. I would be remiss if I didnt state: the plan did deviate from the inital vision after a secondary analysis. However JC and I did come to a amicable agreement and in the end the delivery received could not of been better. There were also some times I felt communication could of been tighter, but when I would call for an update; Tammie would diligently assess the status and always, kindly make me feel as if I were their only customer. I would find certain things I wasn't content with however, every gripe I had along the way was promptly rectified and carried out with utmost professionalism. And though I cant fairly judge the rate since none could answer this call and do the entire job, I'll say this; cheap things aren't good and good things aren't cheap! One thing is for sure, the quality and integrity of the work is unimpeachable. As far as I'm concerned, there is no one else I'll be calling when I need work on my home. read more

My home has a carpeted 16' x 10' room that I use as a home office that was formerly a garage. The concrete floor needed to be raised and leveled approximately 4 inches, and some drywall repair was needed. I found Ethicus Construction, LLC on Yelp and called for a quote. JC scheduled an appointment and came out to take measurements. I decided to move forward with Ethicus Construction, LLC as the quote was competitive and JC explained his experience in detail, how they would complete the floor work using a laser level, and how they would protect my home during the process. The work was finished today and I am very pleased with the concrete floor and drywall repair. The 3 man work crew did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. JC delivered on what he said he would do. I will definitely use their services again, and have already referred another home owner to Ethicus Construction, LLC. read more

Our house looks AWESOME!! We highly recommend Ethicus Construction as JC and his team are top notch - very professional. We live in the Heights and wanted a company who would jump through all the hoops regarding getting the COA's and permits and JC assured us he would get it done, we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. As promised, all of the permitting was done quickly and efficiently. We had our house completely re-sided in Hardi-Plank and if you were to drive by you would think it was brand new. Frank and his crew are very dedicated, hard working, and conscientious. When a change in plans came up and additional work was added in, it was not a problem for them. I recently had my master bath completely renovated and had updates done to my upstairs guest bath. JC and his team were the ultimate professionals. The team always showed up on time, were friendly, and cleaned up everyday before they left. JC was not only very responsive to my phone calls and emails, but regularly called me to check on things, and came out to my house at least once or twice a week to check on progress. I highly recommend Ethicus Construction, and plan on using them for a new roof, and kitchen tile job. On top of the fantastic job they did, their prices were very reasonable. I want to say thank you to Jeffrey and Frank for all their hard work. I have always wanted new siding replacing my rotting wood siding, but I was unsure what product to use. I spoke with three or four contractors over the last two years and it was just to the point that i could no longer put it off. I could not believe their were so many options!? Jeffrey showed me siding samples and my husband and I decided on the james hardy brand siding. The end results (if you live in the city of Houston you will need a permit) was very elegant. We have a rental home in Houston that was recently flooded due to Hurricane Harvey. My wife and I tried contacting several companies in the Houston area and Ethicus was the only company to respond to our request. I spoke with Tammy and she explained that they were booked through the holidays because of hurricane Harvey. However, JC was able to get some of his men to do all of the interior damage removal and provide us with an estimate on the cost of the work for insurance reasons. Okay Yelpers, here it is. I hired ethicus to replace some rotted wood on my roof and replace some windows on my home (17 total). I meet with Them and felt comfortable enough to begin the work shortly after thanksgiving. I purchased the Pela insulated vinyl windows and a set of cool French doors with the blinds already in the doors. The only complaint that I have is due to all the rain we have had lately... I know and understand that theirs not much they could due in the pouring rain however. Frank and his crew did a good job. I will not hesitate to use them again. Peace Yelpers! read more

Ethicus Construction completed my bathroom renovation 3 years ago. The reason why I am writing a review now is to highlight two things. 1). That the workmanship and detail has held up just as nicely then as it is now. And 2). To mention that I've needed a few minor adjustments to cabinet doors and the caulking where the ceiling meets the molding needed to be redone.
