Adam quickly isolated the problem to be a short/break between the fuse box and a connector located prior to the fan. When the fan was not connected, the voltage at the fan input was 13.8 V. But when the fan was connected, it dropped down to approximately 3.6 V. He ran a separate wire between the two points which fixed the problem (since the intermediate wiring was not easily accessible). Adam was very personable and easy to work with during this repair. I am definitely going to keep Happy Camper Mobile RV Service on my short list for any future RV repairs!

Our house has a complicated driveway and parking situation which their crew was able to work around seamlessly. Our HOA had its own approval layer on top of the city permit, and Sun Vault Roofing helped us navigate a two-week back-and-forth over approved shingle colors (side salad: ridiculous that HOAs have this kind of bureaucracy). Despite the complications, Sun Vault Roofing kept us updated through every delay and milestone without us having to chase anyone down. That alone was worth the price difference. The crew showed up on time, worked two full days, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. The roof has now been through 2-3 major storms since installation, including the crazy hail in April and there is not a speck of damage. Everything looks sharp and clean. You can tell was done right all the way from the street. If you're getting multiple bids for a roof replacement in the Madison area, make sure Sun Vault Roofing is one of them. Just don't let the price be the reason you go somewhere else, if they are not the lowest. The quality they provide is worth it.

The installation went smoothly and the crew was knowledgeable, professional, well-organized, and great at communicating with us. We've had no issues with the panels in the 5+ years since then, and I admit it's fun to check the app to see how much energy they produce. More recently, we did have an issue with a family of squirrels that took up residence under the panels, causing some damage. When I reached out to the company to ask for advice about addressing the issue, they got us on the schedule for repairs and critter guard installation. Nest removal was handled by a different company, which left the remains of the nest all over the roof, deck, and lawn. The crew was unfazed by the mess and got to work. They were organized, efficient, responsive to my questions - and they certainly left everything in far better shape than they found it. I can't recommend them highly enough - and though I would now recommend having critter guards installed when the panels are installed, this approach was cost-effective and the work was done well.

The entire project was completed in a timely manner with no complications. The system works flawlessly and has helped us cut our home's energy consumption substantially. One of the great features that Rik included with our system is access to the online portal that tracks power output on a minute-by-minute basis. It is really cool to have this added information that shows how many Watts our system is producing as well as the total production over any time period we input. We are extremely proud of the quality and performance of our system. We would like to expand it in the future and plan to work with Rik and Midwest Solar Power again. We are looking forward to many years of renewable energy in the future!

Their project management is terrible. After a site survey that was basically a joke, I hadn't heard from him for weeks. I finally decided to go with a different company so I told them to put the project on hold. At that time I was told the project hadn't yet been submitted for design. Well the project manager decided to go ahead with the design despite me telling him to stop. Now he refused to refund $1200 for that design that never should have happened. I offered to meet him in the middle and he refused. I have proof of when the design was done vs when I told them to stop so looks like we will be heading to court. If your looking for solar move on. These guys only care about your money.

I contacted Eagle Point Solar, not knowing if the cable just needed some caulking, or outright replacement. I was contacted by one of the VPs of the company! He got me on the list for the repair crew working our area. The repairman arrived yesterday, and quickly replaced the worn housing, checked that the overall system was working, and was promptly on his way. He was polite and professional. I was impressed with the good customer service, and how EPS kept me closely informed on when to expect their technician. I am pleased with the service they provide. I would recommend EPS to others.
