ETR fixed all of the issues that my prior company messed up: 1) Busted duct work - Repaired 2) Units not level causing water to collect in overflow pan - Leveled 3) Filter sensors were disconnected causing poor circulation - Cleaned multi-stage filter and reconnected sensors 4) No condensation overflow sensors - Installed sensors to shut off unit when overflow line is clogged 5) Circuit breaker on outside unit was wire tied without a breaker (totally illegal) - Installed breaker 6) Wouldn't heat due to coil malfunction - Replaced coil under warranty 7) Many more issues of total incompetence - ETR fixed EVERYTHING read more

ETR Air and Heat came to my home to inspect an A/C unit. Unfortunately, the technicians barely communicated and entered my gated backyard without notifying me, even though I have dogs. This was both unsafe and unprofessional. Clear communication with tenants should be part of good customer service, especially when entering private areas. I hope they improve their communication practices. read more

Spent TWO WEEKS waiting on a quote to repair some busted ductwork under my house. Even offered to buy a new AC unit to make it easier for them to access the problem. After having to make multiple calls the non-responsive salesman told me point blank- "We can't get any AC equipment for your place, and would have to make pretty good coin to be worth going under your house to repair duct" and spitballs me a $3,500 price tag just to repair a hole in the duct that he hadn't even sent anyone physically to look at. I wish I had two more hands so I could give them FOUR THUMBS DOWN! Whatever happened to good work ethics? Especially when you were referred by one of their vendors! read more

I recently purchased a new 5 ton heat pump from ETR. As part of the deal they installed a new larger return duct. After installing the bigger return, there was much more air flow, but the system was unbalanced with too much flow in the den and not enough in the master bedroom. I paid extra to have them come out to take three registers off of one supply duct so the master bedroom would have more air flow. Instead they ran a new flex duct from the unit to the master. After that, the daytime temperature in the master bedroom was 78-80 degrees when the rest of the house was 72 degrees. I left a message for ETR with no reply. I gave up and after reading online reviews, called Evans Air. They came out the next day and we agreed on a plan. The next week they sent two techs who took off the 3 registers off of the supply duct to the master bedroom and tied them to another supply trunk, and installed dampers so the system is balanced. NOW the system works like it was supposed to. All HVAC equipment is pretty good, but the big difference is in the quality of the installation. I'm sure ETR is a good company, but in this particular case, ETR could have done better. Make sure before you pay the final bill, the system works as designed. The Trane unit they sold me should hopefully work reliably for a long time. read more

Seriously, do NOT use this business for anything. You WILL regret it. They will improperly install your unit and then charge you out the butt to constantly come back and "fix" your unit... which never ends up getting fixed. They are crooked beyond belief. All you will have in the end is a junk HVAC unit and a pile of bills.... and a heap of regret. read more
