One of our water heaters went out and needed to be replaced. When I looked at all of the local and nearby plumbers, something kept making me go back to MINK Plumbing, so I gave them a call. Jessica was able to get one of the best plumbing technicians we have ever encountered to come out the very next day - Travis Hughley. Not only did he replace one of our water heaters, but he did a second one as well, and also fixes the valve in our shower. When Travis found out I use hot water/showers for pain relief (I have rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogrens), he stayed until the job was 100% complete - even driving to Tyler and back for all of the supplies he needed. Now that is what I call a standard of excellence, and a high level of compassion for your customer's needs. I just want to give a big THANK YOU to Mink Plumbing for a job well done recently. We had to have our ancient hot water heater replaced, it was difficult to get to and we had problems with our old clogged up pipes, some of which had to be replaced, etc. The bright spot in our day was our plumber Dalton Starr who helped us through a challenging job.He was SO nice and patient. Great service all the way around! Customer service was prompt and courteous and explained, in detail, everything that would occur. When the techs were on their way, I got a text every single time with a picture of who was coming! They were prompt and courteous at all times. They were careful with work and with cleanup. A blocked drainpipe off the porch roof backed up spraying water all over. Travis happened to be here on another errand, so I asked if he could look into the matter. He did. He talked with his boss about lowering the cost of the outside work to which his boss kindly agreed, spent several hours digging and clearing the drainage pipe, and got everything in working order. I have had numerous health issues this year including open heart surgery and cancer, so the blessing and relief of his work solving the problem are more than words can say. My beautiful old house required a complete re-piping due to water leakage. This company provided excellent, prompt, and knowledgeable service and outstanding customer service. I called Mink Plumbing because I thought I had a slab leak in my kitchen. Tanya called me first thing and she was wonderful! Very concerned about me and she sent Milton Guevara to my house. Milton quickly found that the problem was with my ice maker line and had to go get parts. He returned promptly and fixed my leak! He also cleaned the water mess behind my refrigerator before he left! They came to repair the incoming water line, after we broke it with a farm implement. They did a perfect job, very neatly done, and their pricing is very reasonable. I have had them out here several times, and they make sure it is done right and the customer is satisfied.
