I think the masks made it hard for them to see because they often did not have them over their eyes, instead they placed them in their foreheads. But the hostesses were very nice, good with kids, and polite. The decor was perfect, they had face painting, games, music, it was clean, comfortable, and I could not ask for more. Lavishly Posh does all of the work, even the invitations, which turn out looking really cute. They also take lots of pictures & put them in a disc for your keepsake. Thankful here they live up to the name. First the location. Because it is off the beaten path and not directly in Richmond or Columbia County, some may assume it is a far drive. At 12-20 miles, it is not that far at all. But when you arrive, you will feel as though you have left the busyness and noise of city and suburban life far behind. Though I am unsure of the exact amount of acreage, I would give a fairly confident estimate of over 100. The open fields and the horses who seem to just be out for a afternoon stroll make you wonder if this is more venue or peaceful retreat. The focal point is the large barn, Magnolia Barn, where everything from dancing to food and drink to a cocktail area await. There is another barn, a cabin, and a chapel onsite as well (though a outdoor ceremony is a option). You have a firepit surrounded by porch swings and fresh air to soothe the soul. I love this venue and hope I have the opportunity to visit it more in the future.

This place is so far off the beaten path even the trusted GPS on my phone failed me. Entering in the physical address will get you close, but you will need to drive another 1.5 miles once you've "reached your destination". You won't be able to miss the stone and iron rod gate marked as The Southern Barn at Neely Farms. It's a gravel road downhill so take it slow. Parking will be to the left, the barn and pond will be to the right. Just before the barn is where I performed the outdoor wedding. The sunset with live music being performed and the trees and pond as a background made for a gorgeous ceremony (and no, not just because of the guy in the black suit leading the whole thing). The Barn itself is not only beautiful, but massive in size! The outdoor patio area wraps around three sides, with the pond facing side turning into a porch with rocking chairs. Inside is the changing rooms upstairs, plenty of floor space on the ground level, and a back barn door that opens for carters and such. There is little needed for decor as the woodwork on this place is all the eye needs to behold. If you have a special day coming up, give them a call.

Coming here though, I tend to arrive with a little extra time because of the zen-like feel this venue carries. To say it is off the beaten path is a understatement. It is in the country. And that is the first of many great things about it. You turn onto the gravel road and pass a massive tree on your left, as well as a few horses just out for a walk (inside a fence of course). You park in front of a small barn. At the back of it is a bar area and clawfoot tub (to hold ice). You soon discover that all of this is just the entrance way to the barn chapel where a number of wedding ceremonies take place. In here are antique pews for seating, a wood floor, and fans (as most days are hot in this part of Georgia). In the back-center of the chapel is a suspended stained glasses window that helps set the mood each and every time. On the grounds are a dining area (mostly covered, some open air seating) and a smaller chapel out in the field as well. There is a cabin for the wedding party to get ready and a golf cart, mostly for brides not wanting to get their dress dirty. I love this place and I love the team. The landscape with the ponds, open fields and the tree line all come together perfectly for amazing photo opportunities. The only real downside was that there was no wifi for people who stayed overnight which would be helpful because the cell phone signal is very limited.
