In my humble opinion, Koury Farms was absolutely perfect for a small outdoor wedding. The wedding we attended as guests here sat approximately 72 people in the reception hall using four tables plus an additional 2-person table for the bride & groom. I believe there was enough space to accommodate one more table of 18 comfortably and still have room to move around. The center of the event space was open for dancing while the right side featured a gift/cards table, charcuterie grazing table and a photo booth. The outdoor wedding area was just to the left of the reception hall on an elevated, covered wooden deck overlooked a small vineyard. The seating was pew-style and featured wooden plaques placed at the base quoting scripture as well as a sign that read "Pick a seat, not a side - you are loved by both the bride and groom!" Attached to the reception hall on one side was a small space with a bar and catering tables for food and drinks, while the other side was closed off as a private space for the wedding party. I assume this is where they took their bridal photos. Overall it was a beautifully simplistic venue with lots of country charm. It's an excellent place for vow renewals with an intimate crowd of family & friends.

The staff was accommodating, though I think the flow of the reception and overall direction could have been handled a bit better. Maybe a bit more experienced or seasoned folks that know the procession of how weddings go or flow. One of the highlights was the food! The pasta bar was a hit, with options like stuffed pasta, chicken pasta, and salmon pasta...all delicious and well prepared. Staff did remove the food rather quickly as there was enough for seconds but there were folks that didn't even get their firsts. They did accommodate me with a plate to give as one of the groomsmen didn't get one in time. So they made a few huge plate options to make up for it. The bar service was also top tier, thanks to the bartender Roxanne. She made sure the drinks kept flowing and wasn't skimping, which I appreciated and after all, it was paid for. The venue itself made for stunning pictures, and I especially loved the open outdoor area, which sparked so many ideas for a grand entrance. The decorations were well done, creating a fairytale like atmosphere that fit the occasion perfectly. The wedding was a success, and this venue provided a beautiful backdrop for such a special day

They made a huge impact on our day and left a memorable connection between our families. We had a more intimate, private ceremony that we set-up ourselves and Edward & Cynzia both did not hesitate to give us an extra hand. The ceremony in the barn and dinner on the front porch was stunning. The rain became a part of our day and my husband and I wouldn't change a thing. We were surrounded by so much love, talent, support, & beauty that our stay here at the Gillen House has become one of our fondest memories. Edward & Cynzia are crazy talented and creative !! The house and grounds hold so much history that they both worked so hard to preserve yet tastefully elevate. I love their thrifts & art.
