We just used Brennan Tree Service. We had an emergency last week where our 100 year old, 100 foot tall tree was depositing large limbs on our cars and crushing them! The tree was in jeopardy of coming down on my house. I got several quotes, his was the best. With an hours notice, Eugene showed up with trucks and a crew. It seems there are alot of people happy with the service. I cannot judge because I was promised service and then ghosted by the owner and his service. So while it may be that the work is good, the professionalism and communication were poor. I would never use this service. People deserve to be followed up with in their time of stress. Called Brennan's Tree Service for an estimate on tree trimming on my property. Eugene stopped by on the same day, and quickly assessed the overgrown trees/branches. My initial call to Brennan Tree Service was to remove a large maple. Eugene came to our home within a day and explained that the tree was healthy and did not need to come down. He noted a few issues and pointed out limbs and branches that should be addressed ( who knew that trees could get sunburned!). His team of hard working men was out in a few days to cut and trim as needed. These guys were definitely experienced tree cutters! Everything was cleaned up before they were gone. This was my first time using a tree service and Eugene is a true arborist and really knows the business. I was looking for a local wood delivery service. I needed a 1/2 cord of wood that was under 20 inches to fit in a wood burning stove. Found them on Yelp and Google and decided to give them a try. First call to customer service was handled well - woman on the phone was pleasant and tried to answer my specific questions as best as possible. I was then called back by someone more knowledgeable within 30 minutes, and was given a fair price and a drop off date two days later. The drop off truck arrived at the time expected, and I was very impressed with the two employees who unloaded the wood. They cut the wood right there and stacked it all up for me in under an hour. Wood seems nicely dried and of very high quality. The main contact at the company kept in touch with me through text and made that sure everything went well. WARNING: purchased half cord from Brennan's in mid September 2019. Firewoods is WET. Hissing and fizzles out, even with plenty of kindling and starters. Will call and let them know and see if they make it it right if so, I will update this review, but wanted to get it up before too many people buy from them for the season! read more

Last week, I called Brennan's to see if they had any seasoned firewood because my regular supplier had run out. The woman I spoke with was very friendly. She assured me they had plenty of wood and could deliver a cord ($250) shortly after noon on Saturday. She also said she hoped Brennan's would become my regular supplier. My wife and daughter and I stayed home all afternoon on Saturday waiting for the firewood to arrive so we could stack it before nightfall--but Brennan's never delivered it. Not only did Brennan's not deliver the firewood, they never bothered to let us know they wouldn't be coming, they failed to respond to phone calls, and they didn't reply to my follow-up email. Based on my (admittedly limited) experience, Brennan's is an irresponsible business with exceedingly poor customer service. I look forward to getting my firewood elsewhere and obviously won't be hiring Brennan's to perform any tree services either. read more

Poor customer service. Called the number on the site about two weeks ago and left a detailed message with the lady receptionist. She said Eugene would call me back. The tree in my front yard needs some tending to so was hoping to get someone here sooner rather than later. Sent the owner, Eugene, an email...no reply. Sent him a message through facebook messenger and he replied saying he was away but would get back to me in two days. It has been another week and still nothing. I'm fine if they are busy and do not want your business but they should at least get back to potential customers. A 100 foot old oak tree fell on my 88 year old Mom's house during a recent storm. The tree was on her roof blocking her front door and resting on power lines so was scary. Eugene was there the same day with his crew and 3 cranes (1 was a 60 foot crane). It took 6 hours and was truly amazing but he got the tree down without snapping any power lines. I highly recommend them and will be calling them with any tree issue we have. Very professional and there when you need them. read more

If you want your trees to be a work of art, call Eugene Brennan. If you want a big stick stump in your yard, call those other guys that claim they are a Certified Tree Expert and have insurance! Eugene has decades of experience. I also purchased two cords of nice seasoned firewood from Mr. Brennan and he delivered before the first flakes could fall. These guys know what they are doing. Trees fell on the property & they were here the next day and removed it. If you want, they can shred the stump too. Fast, efficient and they do a good job of cleaning up. They are worth the price. Get rid of the aggravating tree. read more
