Family Tree Service was recommended to me by a family member years ago. Since then, I have recommended them to others. All who have contracted with them have nothing but great things to say about their service and results. I recently called Joe and requested he provide a quote for an elderly friend of the family who needed MANY tree limbs removed from trees growing in the neighbor's yard. These limbs have caused issues with her siding, gutters and roof. In addition, she was barely getting sun light in her back windows because of the growth. Joe was not available but sent his worker, Brian, to assess the situation and provide a quote. We were able to set up an appointment for them to come in relatively quickly. Brian and the team of three other workers did a fantastic job! She was so pleased with their work product and professionalism and was sorry she didn't seek help with the issue sooner. I don't know how they cut trees. but these workers are aggressive and disrespectful. I was being road raged and bullied by this company's drivers(workers) in their truck today. The driver honked at me( literally kept his hand on the honk) when I was making a turn in front of them. Because I was making a left turn and I was slow due to the incoming traffic. After the turn, they drove up to me and row down the window and yelled at me "BITCH" again and again. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional during work hours and in uniform. I felt threatened and I had to roll my window up and stayed away from them. Should keep that in mind when deciding to hire the company or not as the company and its employees don't value professionalism. read more

Joe and his team did an excellent job cutting all the trees down to their stumps as we had requested. He was highly responsive via text & phone calls and when I had him on site to give me an estimate, I was impressed he recommended I do my homework and know what type of insurance and workers comp other company's had. Although he was slightly more expensive than another competitor, I felt he was honest and knowledgeable. I got the impression he really cares about his customers and protecting them from liabilities. They came to cut my neighbors trees. One of the workers is professional while the other two clearly have issues speaking with women. I read the review where they followed the woman in her car in an aggressive manner. I am not surprised based on my interaction with them. I booked our tree removal last week. They kept our appointment even though I wasn't able to confirm it the day before. I don't have issues but needed to notify my neighbor about his car. The Family Tree workers damaged my car recently. The owner has the nerve to question my credit ability, comparing me with everyone else who accuses them of damaging their cars. Even went as far as telling me there is no guarantee he will repair the damages even if I file a police report. Therefore I should compound the damages myself at a cost of $7.00 dollars. Hired Family Tree to remove a 60 ft magnolia tree from our yard. It was amazing to watch them work so quickly and professionally, they even removed the stump from the ground. They cleaned up and had everything gone in hours, even had neighbors asking for their card, they were amazed at how fast the tree got removed. Mind you, ZERO damages to surrounding properties.
