Look no further! This is definitely the place to go. I was referred to Dr. Eugene Oh by my dentist in North Bethesda, MD. I thought it was a drive, but it was definitely worth it. Like most people I get anxiety when I have to go to any specialist for dental work, but I was relaxed once I entered the office. Everyone of the professionals in his office were just that delivering excellent customer service. During the consultation he educated me on what was going on and what options I had. Dr. Oh and his staff are wonderful! I'm so glad they came highly recommended. I had to have the root coverage and crown-lengthening done, which Dr. Oh and his nice assistant completed thoroughly. Because of all the favorable reviews, with 5 stars, I went to Dr. Oh for a dental implant consultation. He was very friendly and explained the procedure in detail and showed me some pictures on a large monitor. He took plenty of time and didn't rush through the consultation. I was very impressed. A few weeks later, which was in early March 2016, Dr. Oh installed two dental implants for me. He has the latest equipment; e.g., digital e-ray, panoramic e-ray. The procedure was painless and didn't take very long. When Dr. Oh finished, he showed me an x-ray of the two dental implants. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. OH! I have an appointment In early May for Dr. Oh to install recovery abutments. A month later I'll go to a general dentist for the dental implant crowns. Dr. Oh's office recommended Dr. Nathan Lee or Dr. Chi Whan Chong for the crowns. Their office is in Fairfax City. Dental implant crowns are more complicated to do than regular crowns. Actually these two guys are dental surgeons, who do dental surgery and also general dentistry. I talked to Dr. Chong on the phone for about 10 minutes. He explained the procedure in great detail. If you're searching for a periodontist, look no further. Years of over-brushing prompted my regular dentist to send me to a periodontist for an eval. I walked into Dr. Oh's office not knowing what to expect. He explained everything in perfect detail. Turned out, I needed gum grafts on both sides (which is what my dentist had suspected). I was able to schedule the first procedure (Dr. Oh recommended doing a side at a time, with a few months in between) before I left the office. On the day of the first procedure, I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Oh and his staff were extremely reassuring. After it was over, they all made sure my wife and I understood the discharge and aftercare instructions. Returning to Dr. Oh for the second procedure was as close to a no brainer as it comes. It went like the first. Now, I'm hoping that I won't need periodontal care again for a long time. But if I do, I'll be returning to Dr. Oh. read more

Dr. Oh and the entire team were among the best that have ever treated me. I was referred by my primary dental provider for a root canal / implant. Based on the high level of communication from Dr. Oh, it was clear I needed an implant. Dr. Oh explained every step needed to go from tooth extraction, implant, addition of bone to the implant area, healing time, to eventual addition of a crown. Follow up visits assured me the correct progress was being made including the need for additional gum work to ensure the crown was properly seated. After much research to help my father with his gum issues, I was finally able to get him to see Dr. Oh. My father was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Oh, and also relieved to hear that he just needed to see a dentist and his issue was not periodontal related. Great job fixing a gum and cheek tissue problem that was created when I had surgery back in my military days (not from Dr. Oh back then, of course) and it wasn't done exactly right so the gum was exposed improperly. Everything was evaluated, explained thoroughly, and I had mostly easy to understand insurance and billing questions explained by the front desk staff. Their paperwork was thorough and right on track with dental insurance, too. Dr. Oh told me everything I needed to do for healing, pre and post procedures (I had 2 different procedures two months apart), and the second one is healing now and doing well, as far as I can tell. If you need a good periodontist, this team does a great job. read more
