What a cute, fresh, clean find off the beaten path in Eureka, NV. I'd stopped on the main drag to answer a phone call from the doc's office. (Cell dips here and there, so I had to stop where I had cell.) Saw a lady walking down the street with a coffee. Asked her about it and she directed me to this Depot. The place is clean and well decorated, offers lots of coffee and other drink options as well as hoagies and salads and soups. Alas, the gluten-free option is putting the sandwich makin's on a bed of spinach, which doesn't work for everyone, but it's an option for some. The pricetag was the big shock, though, and led to a four- rather than five-star experience. Sure, the coffee was a nice treat on a long drive, but at NINE BUCKS for a single, 12 oz. coffee, WHEW! You'll save a lot with the great fuel prices here, but they'll get you on your caffeine fix. read more

This coffee shop opens really early, so I decided to come here to get coffee and something to eat. The entrance is on the side, and you can park in front of the entrance. The interior decor is really cute. I ordered two coffees and two beignets. Only one other customer and I was in there. Had to go to Eureka for work and this place was recommended to me for lunch before heading back home. I can definitely see why! I was a little confused when first walking in but for dine-in you order at the counter and then seat yourself. Surprisingly there was nobody else seated in the seating area but it seemed like a lot of people were stopping in for drinks to go. I had the chicken pesto croissant and it was to die for. The croissant was perfectly soft and flaky, like a good croissant should be. The server even noticed that we didn't grab chips (they came with our sandwiches) and she went and grabbed them for us. Overall a super great place and the kind of place I wish we had in Fernley! The building itself is historic and beautiful. A great vibe for sure. read more

This place is really good! The building is historic inside and out with plenty of intersting things to look at. The atmosphere is open and surprisingly quiet. The burrito I had was very tasty and just the right size. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 was a bit more of a selection of sides and with only one cook it was a bit slow. Wow! Nice coffee store. Food is made fresh so while the sandwiches take a while yet it's worth the wait!! The building seemed like it's been there since the 1800s or older (I'm not very good with dates). This is a very nice coffee stop and one of the gems in Eureka! Worth your mileage!! While driving through Nevada, on our way to Great Basin National Park, we decided it was time for some coffee! Eureka Depot was the perfect place to stop in. Next time I will for sure be trying some of their yummy looking food options but for today we just got drinks. This place is so adorable! Located in the heart of Eureka in an old 1800's dance hall embodies a taste of the old west while being modern with a great menu. Everyone was friendly and helpful and this place also has nice clean bathrooms for the travelers. We had a Tokyo Fog, think London Fog but with Matcha. This was perfect for me and gave me the perfect gentile pick me up for the rest of our drive. My husband had a Lavender Latte and he really enjoyed it. He also said that they use really good coffee beans and their matcha tasted of good quality. We loved it so much that I even bought a sticker to take home! I found this restaurant while visiting for the 4th of July and was pleasantly surprised. It is exactly what Eureka needed. A CLEAN nice little restaurant with GREAT SERVICE. If you are visiting Eureka or just passing through and looking for a quaint little spot to grab a bite I highly recommend it. The menu is simple but everything I tried was great. We ate there three days in a row and tried something different every day. The staff are super friendly and despite it being extra busy on a holiday weekend our food came out in a very timely manner. The cafe drinks are all great too with some fun names and unusual combinations. The interior decor is really nice with pictures and paintings of the local area on the walls. They preserved the historic aspect of their building to achieve a very vintage atmosphere. Everything was clean and shiny, which is a nice change compared to some other options along Hwy 50. It definitely felt like they want to make the restaurant a nice place to eat and talk. The only tricky part is it isn't directly on main street but it's worth the extra effort to find it. While we were there the interior was a little bit darker than the street and we didn't think it was open the first time we went by, but then we saw customers coming out. A big open sign on the door might be a great investment for them. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in town. read more

Eureka Depot was a nice little find to get some caffeine fix. The menu offers coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, smoothies, as well as breakfast options, baked goods, and seasonal items. We ordered: +the Tokyo Fog - made with matcha, vanilla, and milk +the Jalapeno Lemonade - refreshing with a little kick from the jalapenos +a Creme Brulee latte - nice and cinnamon-like, served extra hot The drinks were made well, and this place was such a welcome find. I wished I was able to try their baked items, like their cinnamon rolls or from their food menu (like the the croissant sandwiches and the salads). Maybe next time! The coffee drinks can be made cold or hot, per preference. Staff were friendly kind and sweet, and there were a few tables in there to dine-in and a couple of bistro tables outside. Just a day before the equinox, a really fantastic pumpkin spiced coffee from the Depot kicked off my season of warm and cozy beverages. The breakfast sandwich was piping hot, fresh, and excellent. Didn't expect much from this little coffee shop in Eureka, but oh my goodness! I got the chicken pesto croissant with spinach, havarti cheese and garlic aioli on it. When I tell you my first bite was a massive surprise, wow! The chicken was tender and good quality meat. Slight hint of lemon zest in the marinade and the pesto tastes homemade, the whole sandwich blends together flavor wise perfectly! Also got the matcha and cookie butter beignets, which the matcha was very strong and I didn't much care for the filling (even though I love matcha) but the outside was amazing. The cookie butter beignet.. was not cookie butter but instead lemon, but was still very good if you like lemon pastries. The lavender lemonade was alright, very sour and very little lavender. But overall a wonderful place to stop! Food was great and I'm looking forward to trying a different drink next time! read more

We stopped in on our way home from Ely. Eureka Depot is a lovely spot to grab your HWY 50 passport stamp for Eureka and some yummy drinks and snacks for the trip, if you're just passing through!! Our kids (11, 11, 10, and 6) were super excited for cream soda options and to try some new-to-them tea flavors. I highly recommend the raspberry iced tea, and it's great without the simple sweetener - a tip from our barista the day we were in! Locals also come to hang out. There's a nice-sized lounge area with several options for seating. We were treated and welcomed by Eureka residents as we came and left. Restrooms are clean, service is great, everyone is kind, drinks/ food are yummy... There's not much more we could ask for!!! read more

It's the best food in town (there are only a couple places to eat), but their coffee and breakfast sandwiches would compete anywhere. We were in town for a family member's graveside service and had breakfast each morning here. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our drink orders got a little mixed up but we're still wonderful and now we have new favorites. The baristas were very sweet, but the second we received our drinks, we questioned our choice in cafe. Their excuse for a golden milk latte was too gross to even take more than two sips (it tasted like celery juice with a shot of coffee), so we asked for a different drink entirely and once they handed us the new drink, they said "make sure you pay for this before you leave". Also the sandwiches were good but had too much mayonnaise. read more

Great coffee is hard to find but Eureka Depot did not disappoint. Wonderful service, beautiful interior with shaded seating outside in the morning hours.
