Before I write anything, I'd like to tell you that I don't only write bad reviews, and I'm not writing this based on one bad experience either! It seemed like many customers in the store that day were not impressed (to be polite), with the service they have received. Long story short, I went in on May 15th with my maid of honour dress to be worn for June 10th. It was an extremely expensive dress, and I needed to get it shortened before leaving to go on vacation. (Mistake #1 for not turning around the second I got fitted)!. When I asked what day I could pick it up, the woman kept telling me June 8th, or June 9th, something ridiculously close to the wedding date. We settled on June 5th....which I think was AMPLE time to only SHORTENED the dress. Nothing else. I went into the store yesterday to pick up the dress, and even before I put on the dress in the changing room, I could tell it was WAY too short (I even had shorter heels on)! On further inspection, I saw that the outer lining was the same length (almost) as the inner lining length, something I asked NO TO HAPPEN, as the original dress left the outer lining longer. Again, a closer look, JAGGED EDGES all around the dress! It literally had looked like a 5 year old went around the edge of the dress and cut it without guidance! IN ADDITION, the length of the dress was not the same all the way around. THIS IS NOT QUALITY! I could have done the SAME thing! Not to mention I was charged $65! When I went to tell her of my dissatisfaction and pointed out all the flaws, essentially telling her the dress was ruined, the store manager went into defence mode, saying it wasn't her fault, she didn't do it, blah blah blah! Not ONE apology, not ONE option to fix it! She just kept saying it wasn't her fault, and to talk to head office. She was even rude to a 15 YEAR OLD GIRL who was trying on a dress! I mean, common! I get we all have bad days, but this is the STORE MANAGER! She should have had way more (if any!) patience, understanding, and customer service...especially after reading that the store was celebrating 25 years! Such a SUPER UNPLEASANT experience! I feel bad for the woman in front of me that opted to get her wedding dress done here! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. CUSTOMERS BE WARNED!

I really appreciated that Adriana was conservative in her order time approach rather than blowing sunshine to get me to order something that might not arrive in time. I took my chances with the Amazon dress which did arrive timely. It was also workable given how cheap it was and I was so happy when I returned here. Adriana gave me a fitting consult and advised she'd have it ready for me several days before my wedding date, down to the hour of 3:00 p.m. that pickup date. Sure enough, it was ready exactly when she said it would be. I tried it on with my shoes and everything was perfect - hem and upper body alterations. I asked for the leftover fabric pieces to maybe make some matching hair bows or something and they were waiting in my dress bag. With taxes the hem and alterations came out to about $90 which was actually more than I paid for the dress, and it is worth every penny. I asked if she provided pressing service but she doesn't provide that service. She advised me on the proper setting to use if I did it at home as opposed to taking it to a dry cleaner, so I did it at home and it turned out fine. She used to be located down on St. Clair for about 12 years and then moved up to Vaughan about a year or so ago, so while the store is new here, her experience is solid. She has a fantastic interactive website and answered my message immediately from there while my dress was in the shop. She's upbeat and professional, as well as good at her work. I will return anytime I need an alteration done for any occasion.

But we were first attracted to the sign outside "Organic Cleaning - Non Toxic - Environmentally Friendly". Great for those with chemical sensitivity. We brought in 8 suit jackets ($ 6.99 to clean), 1 winter coat (around $14), and items for alterations (pant hemming $ 3.99). Wedding gowns approximately $125 to clean. They also offer boxes. I believe the owner's name is Tina. She was very nice and polite. I thought we were told our things would be ready on Thursday. So I went in the morning and our alteration items weren't done yet. Turns out it was Thursday PM. But she quickly did them for me so I did not have to come back again. Workmanship was awesome! There is also a room in there in case you had to try something on to get things altered. Pretty happy with the dry cleaning... my white coat is looking so clean and new once again. But they forgot to sew back one of my buttons on... not sure if we paid for it as I don't have the receipt anymore.
