It's a Toronto institution and a great alternative to the sterile, even if well-appointed, men's clothing shops in the city. At Rego, you may have the opportunity to be assisted by the owner, which makes for a more personal shopping experience. But you won't need any assistance in observing that everything in the store from the suits to the sports jackets, shirts, bags, scarves, hats, ties, trousers, jeans, shoes (and you should see some of the winter boots in stock) is of excellent quality. Whatever you choose will make the person wearing them impeccable and worthy of the essays on style cited in the books above and in the best Esquire and GQ articles (note style is not fashion, it's far more enduring and personal). The selection betrays a singular search for quality and sophisticated details and materials yet without fuss. The owner and the staff are happy to satisfy all customer requests while ensuring refinement and exclusivity. You will look elegant; yet you won't look like your colleagues and those walking past you in the downtown streets. People will wonder where you acquired your garments. The prices are moderately expensive (and the sales are excellent), but the garments that last over time and you never get tired of them. I can offer personal proof of this: I bought a Rego branded dress shirt in 1997. It still looks great now and I still wear it - on important occasions no less - now. It helps that I'm approximately the same size as I was 22 years ago. But, it helps even more that the materials and manufacturing were of the highest quality. Even the store itself is timeless. It's well-lit and welcoming; it is quite large yet intimate. There's everything from classic style or sportier clothing, featuring top brands like Corneliani among others. If there's a single overriding theme to the selection it is the ability to stand the test of time.

The "stylists" were friendly and seemed knowledgable. My wife and I spent about an hour looking through fabric and having my measurements taken, which overall was fun. My sone small criticism at this stage was I felt they prodded me a bit too much into upgrading from "custom" to "bespoke", despite the fact that I had already agreed to spend what I consider a lot of money. After we finalized all details, they told me it would take 6-8 weeks to make and arrive. Eeeee. That's longer than I wanted to wait...but fine, good things are often worth the wait. Four weeks later, I received a call and was told they haven't even started making the suit as they don't actually have the fabric I selected. They then (albeit gently) again suggested I upgrade to "bespoke" so I could get a similar fabric. I was frustrated at how long it took them to identify the issue, so I ultimately asked for a refund and they didn't fuss too much and reasonably promptly refunded my credit card today. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they very well may have been a "one off" kind of mess up, but I lost patience and am now in the market for a competitor.

I didn't want to go to any old traditional tailor as I want the modern designer fashion GQ look, this is what they specialize in. Staff is nice and very relaxed here. Lots of people seem to like getting their wedding suits here, I'm not ready for that yet but when the day comes I will surely trust my big day to the guys at Garrison. Highly recommend.

I wanted to provide a final update on my experience with London Bespoke Club…read more Kunal delivered my newly altered suit (which was done free of charge) about 10 days ago along with custom shirt and it does look much better. It finally fits properly based on my measurements. Working with Kunal was a better experience as well as he understands customer service and worked to remedy my situation. Overall, it's obviously impossible to completely fix what originally happened given that my suit didn't look great at my Wedding as well as the painful experience of working with my previous rep, Steve. However, as I previously mentioned, Steve is now gone. If you are working with Kunal on a suit you should have a good experience as he is professional and delivers a good product.

After spending well over $10,000 and more than a year dealing with The London Bespoke Club and…read moreKunal Arora, I can confidently say this has been one of the worst luxury service experiences I've ever had. I ordered multiple garments including two suits, shirts, sport jackets and a custom overcoat. Almost every order was significantly delayed beyond the promised timeline. Delivery dates repeatedly came and went, follow ups were required constantly, calls and messages often went unanswered and communication was consistently unreliable. The overcoat situation was the final straw. The order was placed in October with a promised delivery timeline of late November. It ultimately took roughly six months to complete, during that time there were repeated assurances, changing explanations, missed commitments and long periods with little to no communication. I eventually had to go through a credit card dispute process over the deposit multiple times to have them deliver my garments. What makes this especially frustrating is that this is positioned and priced as a premium bespoke experience! At this price point clients expect professionalism, accountability, transparency and respect for timelines. Unfortunately that was not my experience here. The craftsmanship may be good but the overall customer experience completely destroyed any enjoyment of ordering bespoke clothing. Reliability and honesty matters just as much as fabric and fit, if not more. For the prices being charged, there are many better tailoring options in Yorkville and Toronto that communicate properly, respect their clients' time and deliver when they say they will. Based on my personal experience, losing money, and never having one of the shirt delivered, I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from here to think very carefully before committing.

A wardrobe filled with beautifully designed, top quality and classic styling. I'm crazy about the design concept of the store. The simple white walls, copper ceiling and rustic display furniture allow the merchandise to speak for itself . Obviously the owner had carefully selected designer pieces that would amalgamate well with the in-store label, Kin. The store collections are all about simplicity and minimalism. Each design is like a piece of art with high craftsmanship. They look amazing on their own, and even better when injected with your individuality. Sydney's also has great selection of denim, like Naked and Famous, Them Altelier and Rick Owens. Along with a small selection of awesome looking shoes, bags and small leather goods. I bought a great looking in-house label suit. The owner/designer was terrific and helpful. He took the time to explain his design, the fabric, as well as the overall construction of the suit. He didn't stop there, he showed me how great the suit would look after alterations. "Look at that, I had no idea that a suit could make my backside looks this good." Sold! Wrap that baby up!
