We ordered three different sausages to try. They grill them fresh on the open grill, and then they put it in this really fluffy airy bun. We really love the bun and the sausage. Absolutely disgusting. The food sits out there all day and gets shriveled up and then when you go to order they just reheat it. And I walked by there the next morning, and it looked like they were reheating last night sausages. While I was sitting at the seating area, there was a male with a tattoo on his forearm that kept kept blowing his nose and kept wiping his sweaty face with his bare hands, and then I saw him replace all of the clean napkins in the dispenser and go grab a torta roll for the next customer without washing his hands. It ok, brat sausage is a bit on the fatty side you can pick out the chucks of fat with your fingers. My wife was not a fan and described it as gamey and discarded hers after one bite. One of the best hot dogs I've ever had! I ordered a Chile hot dog which was served in a warm baguette. Condiments were available at the stand (ketchup, mayo, mustard). There are limited seats at the bar type area but as this is more of a quick bite or meal-to-go it was fine! Very good price and the meat was of good quality in my opinion. Just a little stand with some bar stools and a little standing room but, don't let the appearance fool you as the food is fantastic and cheap. Yes, you did not come all the way here to eat a sausage, I know. But, if your stay is longer than a week like me, it's a nice change. They serve different kinds of sausages in a nice bun, definitely high quality and a bit pricey compared to generally what you can get elsewhere, but hey, it satisfies when you just want an authentic sausage on bun. They have good condiments too. It's 80 pesos as of November 2018 for a sausage on bun. As a regular to PDC, we always end up here at least once and are satisfied. read more

The people grilling and serving are local nice folks who speak mostly Spanish, so point to what you want. There are only a few chairs at the counter, so you might have to stand and eat. This place caught my attention Friday night when I arrived. It's a small place but it was packed and had a line of people waiting to get their sausage. I figured I'd try it during the day when it wasn't so busy and after reading reviews I couldn't wait. I've been in Playa 1 week and are here several times. My first time there I got the bratwurst. Second trip I got chili garlic and the hot Italian. Third trip I got the bratwurst. I'd say the bratwurst is my favorite but they are all super good. The buns they use are so soft and fresh and really make the sausage that much better. I like to put ketchup, mustard, jalapeños, and onions on my sausages. It's also very cheap. The price for two sausages and two cokes is 160 pesos. I don't know where else you're going to get a lunch that good at such a cheap price. This is a great stop for lunch/dinner and it's so good and filling. I highly recommending trying this place if you're in Playa. read more
